Wow, just one point difference from yesterday!!

OH MY! I went to get the morning test and was handed a growl & hiss @-) . Attie has never done that regarding his tests! I think it might be a left-over from yesterdays attempts to get the mat combed, brushed, and raked out! Well much to his dismay he got towel wrapped and tested anyway. Then he got a treat... ;-) . So we'll see how this goes today. Stinker.

He was/is quite normalized to testing. I could test him literally anywhere and without fuss. Even last night I walked into the bedroom, he was on the bed sleeping, woke him, tested him, and he rolled back over to sleep. "No treat Thank you anyway mum. ~~Attie"

I am going to bump him up in dose today too, thinking the full 2.5u. I have about 20 minutes or so until actual shot time... It will be interesting to see what he does when I go to give him his shot this morning...growl & hiss cranky pants...or shoulder shrug.

Well, it may be gray and snowy outside...

Morning all! Nice and sunny there Attie - looking mighty fine in yellow. You planning something for later on? like maybe some blues or greens? Good luck with the new dose. Hope the grumpy attitude this Am is a thing of the past. Once in a while Mannie will do that to me too. :?

Snow...what snow? We don't have any snow at all. About 8 inches. Now head 2 miles east or south....theys gots snow!!! Like nearly 2 feet and still falling!!!!

Well out to the barn this morning and it was only 17F with a windchill of 7F. Yes, seven....brrr....not supposed to need my thermal glove liners yet...those are for Jan. and Feb. cold....

How to confuse the kitties too...come home smelling like straw, hay, oats, manure, horse...LOL...They're not done inspecting my gloves, boots, coat, hat, scarf.... :lol:





And it is cold enough for the Chalet toboggan chutes, ooooooweeeee 700ft of ice downhill..

Yes, that's pretty flat, and yellow...and many times that indicates an active cycle coming...so be ready!

Lantus is known for it's flat cycles, they can surf for hours around the same numbers....that's one of the great things about it, because it sure feels a lot better than all the yo-yoing up and down you get with most other insulins. Tinkles used to get HUGE swings with ProZinc....it never seemed to bother him much, but he feels SO much better with Lantus....he's a different cat.
