and i know it doesn't help that i don't know what his numbers were today..
but he sure is himself right now, terrorizing poor Lily, lol
She has had a terror free time for awhile lol, RUN LILY RUN! :lol:

I have no problem being here and helping him, as long as I have someone to help me, LOL I agree with you that I should probably stay the course, especially being that I will be out of the house tomorrow working from 8-4
so I would like to know what to expect should his AMPS be low.. ;-)

if i were you...and this is what i do....every time i test the AM/PM PS...i take out the whiskas pouches (w gravy in it) i have everything ready for the "just in case" so i know where everything is....

take a deep breath (i know easier said than done...i do it too...panic!) but you'll be fine....i'm like you i go by the mmol so looking at those #s freaks me out more than looking at say 90!....makes sense?

yeah i'll be here...i may have a long night myself as Rocket's PMPS is 99 just now....

shout if you need to...and if you think he is going too low....fed, wait 20 mins then test.....don't be afraid of using the 911 if you have to....

i hope the experts are around....we will both shout together, how about that? ;-)

I won't be able to stay up with you, unfortunately...I'm working on an hour of sleep myself, so I know I can't do it. But others will be up, so I would go for it!

Look at Mowgli's numbers, while I've been sick, he's been getting healthy numbers...good boy, Mowgli!! :-D

nice looking #s...yes you want to give small snacks at this point...but not the HC unless he is diving on you....like really low #s......especially if he didn't eat much at PMPS....so far his #s only require for you to give him his reg food....

left the answer to your question in my condo...hopefully if you ask in your condo you will get a better response....

it's all good....now that you are home you would like to gather as much data as possible to see where he is at....sort of helps you understand how he is reacting to the dose....if that makes sense? sorry i'm not an expert... :sad: but he is responding to the new dose....that's good...

No, i don't have chicken dust, but he has been eatting the merricks when i give snacks, which i just did when i took this vampire bite..
I also have some HC as well as the caro..corn syrup, whatever we wanna call it..
no coffee though..... no coffee...
may have to wash the bodum and make a small pot?? lol (notice calm cool keri right now, and mental note this and direct me here should the need arise) ;-)

You are both doing great. The drop is slowing down considerably.

I feed Gabby at pre-shot, +1, +2, and +3. She tends to take nose dives so spreading her food out helps. When her numbers are running low, I will split up the food into smaller portions and spread them out over the times when I test -- either over 1/2 hour periods (vs. hourly) or longer (e.g,, at +4).

I'd test again in 30 min. You want to know if numbers are still going down or leveling off.

i would just give a lil bit of gravy (just the juice)....then test in 1/2....

Looks like Mowgli may be surfing. Surfing the 60s is fine. It looks like he's around his typical nadir. The question of the night is whether you want to wait this out -- in other words, test in 30 and see if he's rising on his own -- or whether you want to go to sleep. If the latter, you can give him some HC and leave food out and go to sleep.

Have you been giving any LC?

tested at 45 after the hour...so +5.75 an he is holding at 65.
No he had a little bit to eat awhile ago... i will test again at the +6 and try to get him to eat some LC...he is plastered to the couch....
Is this a decent plan to do the +6 an get him to eat a little something?

I am up may as well ride this as long as i can before bed, or when it is safe to do so just get up and check on the hours?

what i do is when i get 2 rising #s i then switch from testing 1/2 hr to every hr....and when he is up enough i just let him be....

Here's the information on the basics of what to do with low numbers. Basically, you want to see a surf that doesn't have HC behind it or that numbers are heading up. What Claudia noted is exactly what's in the link. People here like Pat are better than I am with setting an alarm and getting up and testing. I'm better at just staying awake.

i must say i find it interesting that when their numbers are lower their interest in food is less.....

I am just wondering what you think would be a good dose for tomorrow?
I will be away at work from 8 till probably 4 or 5....
would you recommend sticking with the 2u or bring it down?

still hasn't really eatten anything...gonna try some LC again

am off to sleep for awhile,
he didn't eat anything, so actually started coming up on his own...

so again, if anyone has any AM dosing suggestions, here is a heads up that I will be asking ;-)

usually a +11 or +11.5 helps out others for the heads up.
hopefully it will be smooth sailing for you at AMPS
