Yesterday
Wow...the past two cycles were really amazing. I gave him a dosecrease even though he only had 2 <50s so far on this dose. HC gravy was not bringing him up to high nor was it keeping him up there last night. That always surprises me when he doesn't rise. I had been adding a drop of karo to it here and there, but then I finally gave a lot more karo with the HC at +8. I am pretty beat this morning so I am going to continue with my power napping after I get a +1. He was such a good boy during the night....

wow shadow .. what a nice run of numbers you had last night .. you know, you and mocha were pretty close till she flew up to the red floor this morning .. I wish you would teach her a thing or two about not bouncing .... get some sleep today pat! Have a great day guys!

I slept Tena...in between the tests. Power napping is the way to go! I really have to go btb for a little bit right now though...I really want some ~O) but put that off till i wake up again... ;-)

Wow Pat, what a night for you. Hopefully Shadow will give good consistent numbers so you can nap today. Good thing it is Saturday.

Very nice cycle there, Shadow and Pat! Such a nice way for Shadow to show how much he loves you! Not much sleep in that cycle, tho...and even though you had the power nap, I know you will enjoy a nice long btbing!! keep up the wonderful numbers, Shadow!

Power napping is OK in the short run. You do need a few hours (like 8) of uninterrupted sleep. Could you please convey that to Shadow and Raja?

Wow Shadow. Nice run of numbers, would you please just bring them up a tiny bit. Hope the dosecrease works. It's cool and rainy here so I hope your btb is successful and you catch up on some sleep. Who knows, Shadow may do a rerun tonight. LOL

Impressive Shadow. Now be a good boy, surf well this morning - blues are good - so your bean can get some rest. Remember now - minimal bouncing OK?

What a night for you Pat, well done! Though I am sure you are beat. My hat goes off to you - I'd be a zombie this morning if it had been me.

Good luck with the dosecrease - I hope Shadow can hold it, have equally as good numbers.

A pretty nice day for shadow considering what he went though last night. As i said in Raja's condo, I bought some test strips..with the gift card at Walmart that I got for donating blood....well, I mean I put the money towards buying some strips... $10 for my wonderful blood....and $30 out of my pocket for the 100 I got. :lol:
Oh, the display was empty of strips! :o
I was lucky the cashier found some from behind the counter.... whew!
I am all smug again with a pretty full box now open and two back up boxes! I am rich with test strips!
All ready for another pajama party...LOL...not tonight though... :lol:
My sister was rude enough to do the math when she asked how many I go through in one day...she kindly multiplied it by two cats and then almost fell over when she realized how long the box lasts us. I never wanted to actually DO that math but she socked me with the reality. I hate to figure things out like that cause it is always so darn depressing.
Thanks a LOT Cathy! Of course, she never counted out the number of strips we use on a night like last night! :lol:
 
Too funny on your sis calculating the cost of FD. That doesn't take into account food and vet visits and insulin. :lol: Every one of those kitties is worth it!

Blackie had to send his apologies, he had to go to the yellow floor for a bit. I hope Shadow stayed in the blues. And I hope Blackie will come back to the blue soon.
 
Your sister's math made me laugh! Sorry!

It reminded me of a conversation Thanksgiving night in the kitchen while everyone was helping do the dishes and my brother-in-law asked about our cable TV, plus satellite TV subscriptions... why have both? My DH loves his football... anyway the cost of our TV habit was one of those things that is better off not knowing about. My DH is clueless and I think he imagines it is free, like the air we breathe. Hahahahaha!!

Shadow's PMPS is nice! He looks good in blue.
