Good Morning LL! Everything happened at once yesterday evening. As I sat down to give her her shot I felt wet, another pee accident in her sleep. As I was getting the covers off the sofa, my DS called. She has been dx w/ cervical cancer. So a lot was going on. Then the power went out. I know I should have gotten another test after that +4, but w/ no power and I was exhausted I gave up and went to bed. I am still so tired, I feel like I will never get enough sleep again. I'd like to go BTB, but little miss is moving fast. I'll try to get to condos, but I have to take Mom to a DR. appointment at noon. Sorry to be Debbie Downer, but oh!, the ants are back! At least Tess is good this morning.

WCR All 5 Ps Hungry and playful, she came in to sleep w/ me after the missed +9, woke me up but it was to late to feed. Made sure I woke up at preshot. Playful and cuddly this morning w/ a little zippy pants action

I think you have a few typos in your Subject line -- either that or please get Tess to the vet with those kind of numbers! SS says AMPS is 88 and +1 is 62.

It sounds like your plate is pretty full. Take some time for yourself -- that's important, too.

Ann....I am so sorry about all of this coming down on you at one time. I hope you have a close friend there who can help you. It looks like Tess is trying to go down this morning? We are sending healing vines to your DS and also to you....please take care of yourself even with everything you have going on. So glad to hear Tess is feeling well and these are great numbers for her but wow...what numbers to wake up to when you are so tired.

Wish some of us were there to help out!!! At least we could test for you so you could take care of things. I hope all goes well with your mom and you get a chance to get in a nappus some time today.

omg Ann! WOW... I hope all with be well with your DS - my thoughts and prayers are with her. I am sorry on everything else. :sad: And Sienne is on target - remember to take time for you too. First I read Pat's Condo, and now yours. you guys are amazing, my hat goes off to you, and I will not complain about anything here today.

Sorry about the subject, i was a little bleary eyed this morning. Up at +2:30 I fed her some 15% at the 42, I hope I didn't overdo it. I do have to go out at +5:30, so I hope she is surfing a little higher by then.

Thanks everyone, I needed a couple of shoulders this morning. I wanted to go BTB, but Tess had other plans, so I finally got a chance to make coffee. I hope it kicks in soon.

Mannie, I don't understand, all I know is I feel I need to stay close to mom today. Extra cuddle would be great for her I think. What happened at Shadow's? -- Tess

Fed her another half breffis of 9% Wellness pouch Turkey and Duck w/ sauce. I'm really happy to see greens but the timing is making me nervous.

oh, ann...what an emotional and physical overload for you. you have been such an inspiration for binks and i...we will muster up all the good thoughts and prayers we can and send them your way. and i agree with the others...don't forget ann in the midst of all the turmoil.

Oh Ann, so sorry about your DS - sending positive energy and healing vines for her...AND some for you as well. I hope after the dust settles this afternoon, you can get a nappus in. And I hope the ~O) kicks in in the meantime. Hope your mom's dr appt goes well, too. Boy, I'm doing a lot of hoping here ;-) Tess is looking wonderful, tho, glad she is feeling well, sorry about her accident, and well, it would be nice if she had better timing with all of this :lol:

Fed a little more 9% w/ a touch of the 15%. Back again in 30.

Thanks Celi,I skipped my nap yesterday afternoon to get work done like a good girl. I don't plan on making the same mistake today.

Anne, Yeah the timing sucks, and then the power failure to top it off!. Now I get to go reset all the clocks AGAIN.

Ann...thanks for your post. I wonder the same thing...they are high and we feed "higher" % carbs just in case they drop....yes, it is intriguing but it makes sense because once they start the drop, then you are playing catch up....I would think it is the big drop and then surfing in lower numbers that causes Mr. L to panic. But...it is discouraging on days when she's high and she doesn't drop...then I'm giving her extra carbs...except you are right...there may not be much of a difference (Dr. Lisa); altho..still...when I go back to Gracie's SS...she definitely has had less dramatic drops on days when I fed her 4% over 2%...my imagination :?: Sometimes it makes me weary just trying to figure it out esp because who knows with each cat since ECID?

Tess is telling you she wants you to stay home...may be another travelling day for her?? :lol: :lol:

Marjorie, you may be right on the road trip. If Tess isn't stable in the 60s she gets to visit the ophthalmologist today.

Gracious me Ann, when it rains it pours. You are doing a good job under this pressure. I hope Tess settles in a little higher for you. There's another super hero in LL ;-) I'm sure you are exhausted. It's amazing how FD beans can push themselves but eventually we have to stop and try to catch up so we don't crash and burn. Hope your appt attending goes quickly and smoothly.
Healing light and support vines to you and yours. I'll be praying for all.

61, didn't feed this. Can get in 2 more tests before I have to go, if she surfs w/ no more food she gets to stay home.

Tess - it's ok, you spend time with your bean today. She needs the cuddles. Shadow has been very busy: he has been in the 30's and 40's since early last night. His poor bean is really really tired too - its been a long one for her. Shadow won't eat when he is so low, and his poor bean is at it with the syringes and the gravy and the karo. :shock: We can come and visit you if your bean needs more cuddly kitties. Oh, Ann. What a night you had! ohmygod_smile I am so sorry about your DS and I'm sending prayers for her. You really have a full plate and with DH gone, you're probably overwhelmed. I hope Tess will come up so you won't worry about her.

:-D ice long green surf this morning, but the dreaded bounce is starting. Hopefully, it will not be as high or long as the last couple. I'm not sure I can handle that right now.Tess is pretty quiet this evening, maybe dreaming of Mannie's fireplace.

I'm glad she surfed and let you get done what you needed to. That is NOT a bad PMPS or bounce...I'm hoping for the best!!! Hope you get a little
rest but she doesn't do a high bounce!

Not too bad - nice number to start with. I hope that she can just surf a nice low level blue surf. rest for her, rest for you.

Hope all is well with you. what a last couple of days. Dr's orders: feet up, cat on the lap, glass of pinot, maybe a good book or movie... and some chocolate.

I was so hoping not to see that 265. aiyee! well send her to see Mannie - he could use someone on the side of the shore to rescue him in case he goes under. :lol:
