Good morning LL!! ~O) ~O) and Happy Halloween!

To all my LL friends: as we party today, may we keep close to our hearts all our ailing kitties, with the hopes that they feel better soon. ~~ Mannie, NCIC

Our yellow kitty from yesterday seems to be back this morning. Here's hoping that today Mannie can find those blues again today. Mannie - that is your mission: blues and greens, and you are not permitted to visit the pink floor again, OK.

Mannie Is one content kitty this morning, though he was late for breffis. :shock: What is up with that. Once he decided to show he was carrying on so - kitty dances, purrs, hollers - then I couldn't serve fast enough. No figuring cats. Things are pretty normal here this AM - he's chowed down, patrolled in interior, and off now for his nap on his nanner pile... no doubt resting for todays' festivities.

YAY! It is Halloween! I am so ready, and SO STOKED. Party time! The tour bus has been decked out, and is ready to roll. Are you ready kitties? We are a traveling party today, a progressive party, where we can experience the vast diversity of the places where all out kitties live. Our journey begins in the dunes and the desert of the SW, to the eerie mists and foggy marshes of the forests of the PNW, to the slithery shiny sandy beaches of the SE, to our final destination: the veil at Camp Stu. I so look forward to Camp Stu - the veil will be the thinnest tonight, and with Camp Stu being the magical place that is it, well it has been said that the veil will be thin enough that we can see our departed friends: Stu, Bear Man, Pippin, Latte, Tuscany, Ginger - all of them. Moonie has a special song prepared for them. Grab your costumes, and lets go! See you all there ~~ Mannie, NCIC -- and last but not least, our party menu:

Ah Celi - I love it! Mannie would look good in that. I saw him leave with a duffel bag this morning - seems he plans on changing out costumes: he was singing about being a Shakespeare cat, and Richard the lion hearted, and iron chef bobby flay, and wow - now james dean. what fun!

And when you get to Camp Stu tonight, you will find a thin veil--sort of like a screen door--with Stu, Bear Man, Kasha, Pippin, Ginger, Tuscany, Latte and all of our other GAs on the other side, all partying and waiting to greet you, like this:

Hey Ella - happy Halloween! Enjoy your dinner and party tonight - be a great bag lady. :lol: it sounds like a grand time - i hope it will be a ton of fun! I can just see all of you walking house to house in costume.

Miss Ella! I am so excited about today - I hope all the kitties have such fun. I loved your idea of a progressive Halloween dinner, and thought I'd do a variation on it - time to see all the places all our kitties live, and the fuds that make their areas so cool. I am so excited for the moment when we will be able to see our friends. I miss them all so much. Thank you for the photos - all the kitties can now help us get there, though I hope the tour bus will be on auto pilot. You are the best. We all LUBS you! ~~ Mannie

Wow Sara is very excited about the party and the menu is exquisite! Sara is making her catnip ice cubes now, and than shes going to get her costume together. She can't wait. What a party this is going to be.

Ending at camp Stu is going to be a blast! It will be nice seeing all her GA friends.

Mannie. I'm right down with you already. I spotted Blackie up on red though, so I know right where to go to get her. We can be in and out in a flash. This armor is pretty effective, I may just keep it.

The menu is spectacular! and everyone is coming!!! I can't wait for Moonie's song and a chance to see all our friends through the veil. I bet they will all liik so healthy and happy. Why do people think this is scary?

Miss Ella, thank you again for opening Camp Stu for us. It is the perfect place. Will you be there? I promise to take the armor off before sitting in your lap if you are. Lubs and purrs, -- Tess

I KNOW on the veil - they will be so happy and healthy and i bet Stu is cooking up a fantastic feast today too. I know too on its not scary - it will be very special, we will have to reassure those that are scared. What a day! wow Michele you're gonna be busy again. I was in your condo and watched your Sat. night (morning). Like Celi and Tena said you have Mannie so well figured out. Sienne has Gabby figured too. It's so nice to see. Did Mannie bounce in the beginning? Is there anyway to help prevent it? Happy Halloween Mannies numbers are already coming down from all the activity :lol:

Mannie yo menu is tasty yus a great chef. Its butiful weather here in NE great fo party. Wees can has a bonfire at Stu's camp.I's so cited its my first party and its Halloween flip_cat I's so ready. Binks gave you good costume too you'll looks like a cool dude. Don't forget to stops in cennicut I be waiting

Teddy is very excited about the party tonight. He says that it's the best night of the year to be a black cat. I mentioned to him that he might be able to see Bear Man through the veil tonight, and he got very quiet for a while. I am sure that Bear has some magic in store, and that he will do everything he can to let Teddy know that he is alright where he is, and to reassure himself that Teddy is doing OK as well.

Mannie! I need a lift, Dude. Watch yourself on the roads here - it's snowing! I hear that Bear will be there tonight. Do you think I will be able to touch him?

Michelle...awesome menu!!! Gracie is so happy Mannie is serving flambe quail and salmon wraps in dill sauce but really can't wait to taste all the other amazing things.
Ella and Edward...Gracie and Tobey are so excited to go to Camp Stu...it will be Tobey's first visit so I hope he behaves!

Mannie..me and Tobey is ready for the tour bus and to taste all the scrumptious foods you making and I'm so happy to be in the KK!! Everyones costumes is looking so pretty...I likes your James Dean one and the NCIC one...cause you are so handsomes!!! I can't waits to see Tess and Raja and Moonie and Binks costumes...all of dems!!!

KB was very quiet when I mentioned paying our respects to the kitties (and ferrets) that have gone ahead, but he is preening pretty heavily now getting ready, and had a respectable 203 @+9.5, so maybe he can have a special treat at the party tonight.

Hey Linda - your post brought tears to my eyes - good ones, and warmth to my heart. I believe that it will be so - for Teddy and for Bear Man. What an awesome thought. Mannie told me this AM that he had a dream, one where for just that instant all would be clear, there would be a shimmer to the veil, then clarity. they would be that moment when they could see each other, touch for a brief moment. They cannot cross, but they can share and remember. What a magical place Camp Stu is. What a wonderful community we have.

Roni! YAY for Moonie! Mannie was hoping she would be cooking, so many kitties are bringing things to share. They are going to be one well fed group. omg on the video recorder - :lol: :lol: love the concept. I think we should give that project to Tess, after all she can self test -no easy task!

Hi Kathy! Oh yes on the bouncy kitty thing - he was an awful bouncer, diver, he did it all. horrid sometimes... It was Sienne that suggested a different way of feeding for Mannie - instead of the every four hours I switched to feeding mini meals at ps, +1, +2 ,3 and not again until +9. (of course when he is way low this all changes) - that change did so much to leveling out his cycles, and over time the bounces were less, etc. It took lot of patience and trying different carbs to see how he reacted to each one. alot of trial and error.

HEY TED! no way will I forget you!!! and the tour bus is prepped - i have the worlds bestest snow tires, but i will be very careful. miss ella warned me - she said there is now there now. YAY! It ought to make the veil even more special. I am anxious for our time there. I have heard, and well I drempt too, that we will have a moment when all is clear and we can see our GA friends. we may be able to touch - just for an instant. that alone would be enough ya know. :-D See you soon ~~ Mannie

Hi MJ - I so agree. This whole thing started with an idea from Roni, developed with Ella, carried forward by all that visit Mannie's, and others, condos. The thought of all our babies being one once again seemed so right. So here we are - and what a great group of people, and furbabies we are. We are all so lucky.

Mannie sure has been busy today with all the party plans and some great numbers. I am sure an awesome time will be had by every single kittie tonight. Wish there was some way to get pictures of the party but the flash would probably give it away. Maybe we should get one of those night vision camera's installed at Camp Stu for future use? When the time comes for the GA's to appear - have the kitties give Tuscany our love!

Joyce - I think Roni wished for video, and wouldn't photos be so fun. I suppose the power of imagination will do just fine. I will have to tell Ella that she needs to take care of getting one of those night vision cameras. :-D I have a feeling this will be one of many visits by the kitties to Camp Stu. They all love it there, truly a magical place.

Hi Barb - I am glad things are better for Tori, and glad she is excited for the party. Great day for Mannie, in more ways than one. What a great day this has been. Mannie was so excited to be able to have the chance to connect with all his friends. We all miss them so.

Miss barb? We got Tori right away. She got front row seat - she claimed shotgun, and everyone said she could have it. It was so cool. I promise to bring her home safe and sound. ~~ Mannie

And this preliminary report in from the manster from party central: all kitties made the bus. Binks was crucial in getting through the snowbanks in the NE - way to go Binks! It appears that Tess and Mannie, with Gracie's assist, got all the kitties tested, and promise to text all numbers to their beans. They have the grills and firepits set up in the SW desert, with no mishaps. phew! Mannie thanks Raja immensely for her organizational skills, and calm demeanor. skulduggery is afoot, of the whimsical kind. Moonie has been warming up her vocal chords, and teaching all kitties the chorus lines. Seems all is well in the vast desolate regions of the desert and sand dunes of the SW. Party on!

to everyone's faces. Gracie texted me and she and Tess are making sure everyone does their tests and texts them home. Mannie's food is phenomenal;

and Marjorie - thank you for all of the above. there are times we need things like this, in the midst of dealing with FD. It is as much a cure for the beans as it is for the welfare of all our kitties.

The kitties were saddened to learn of the loss of their friend Cleo, who crossed to the bridge this evening. They all took a moment while in the midst of the forests of the PNW to remember Cleo. The mood was somber, as they wept for the loss of their friend. Mannie sent the following message "we will miss Cleo, and we have honored her at all the places we have visited tonight. We were grateful to be able to see her when we were at camp Stu. The veil was so clear, and there she was - smiling, happy, and with so many friends. She asked me to tell her bean that it is ok, and she is fine. She says do not worry my mamabean, I am fine now, and I will always watch over you. " Fly free sweet Cleo!

Mannie also had written from the moonlit shoes to the SE - the kitties are well, enjoying a huge bonfire, telling stories, sharing memories. They once again remembered dear sweet Cleo, and began their preparation for the trip to camp Stu. Mannie wrote that with the passing of Cleo they were all very anxious, and joyful to see their friends that have gone away. The moment at the veil was stunning, joyous, heart warming, satisfying. He promises to write tomorrow and tell all about what was truly a momentous evening.

And for all your beans - Mannie says "don't wait up... "

Well I am up!! Moonie took a dive tonite when I got home!!--Sure you are probably sleeping soundly now, while I am up looking at the moon!!

Thanks roni - you are great! I am off to bed - Mannie is headed the opposite direction, so I might as well sleep. ugh on the number, yay on the sleep!

NI, ni Michelle. thank Mannie for keeping an eye on Tess once again. I received a text from her, all the kitties are tired and have curled up together to sleep. Don't look for them until morning.
