So last night we had steak (it was cheap and on sale lol) and I gave a little bit to Oscar since he loves it and it is all protein. We don't use anything that has sugar in it for seasoning, so all good. Except, I forgot that my boy has become sensitive to beef ohmygod_smile . By +4 last night, he was 347 So this further confirms that he cannot have beef anymore. Yoda ate some too, so I checked his glucose - a nice 63, so definitely not a glycemic thing.

WCR: 3 P's in place so far (purring, preening, peeing). Oscar is his usual happy self!

Isn't it funny how certain things that shouldn't affect their BG, do? At least it didn't last long...and I'm sure Oscar loved it anyway! I hope that dosecrease brings some better numbers soon, Kelly!

+8 was 158 and pmps is 213

That's strange that an all protein food will impact him w/high glucose numbers....I bet he enjoyed the steak though.
