Have you spoken with your mother about his eating? Maybe if you mix some warm water into his food (unless you are already doing that...) I suppose you have tried different flavors...
I am concerned...do you know if he is usually so finicky?
 
I told her and she said he just isn't really fond of the feeder. I was home today so i didn't use the feeder and warmed up his food for him in the microwave for a few seconds and that seemed to work, he ate great today. And we didn't waste any food! Yay! But we need him to get used to the feeder, so i have it all set for tonight and he actually just ate a little out of it after some encouragement. His numbers were higher tonight, not liking that but they are coming down thankfully!
 
no advice on the feeder...currently, i'm Bink's autofeeder, and he likes it wet and warm...on demand!

good luck tho...binks and gandalf are hangin out on the same floor tonight...
