YAY!: Mannie made green last night. :mrgreen: Way to Mannie, and good job! cat_pet_icon It made for a semi-late evening, but not too bad. nice that DH could feed him so I could go to bed. It was nice to see a 178 this morning. I hope he will continue with this, and that it really isn't the start of a bounce. well either way Mannie, your bean is ready.

Another laid back normal it's almost November morning for Mannie. Such a different kitty when the days are cold, the nights long, and no daylight when he get things started here. Back to the nanner stash for him this morning. Breffis #1 and #2 eaten with gusto - though his civvie sister stole his breffis out of the auto feeder. The bean had to reserve. Too slow there Mannie! and a double darn it that Elsa has discovered the feeder. darn darn darn! A new thing for her.

Have a great day everyone! It should be sunny here today. Hope so - a day for fall yard and lawn maintenance, and roof and gutter cleaning. I thank somebody for a able bodied son who does roofs.... :-D

:lol: I am laughing...so many people have a hard time training their kitties to find the food in the feeders...and the ones the you don't want to train "get it" immediately. Go figure!! :lol:

Hi Pat - go figure huh! I have been working for what seems like ages to get Mannie to use that feeder. He's so close - now to "un-teach" the other one. ohmygod_smile

I never know if it's Gabby that's snacking out of the feeder when I'm either out of the house or sleeping. It could be Gizmo! The kitten tends to be active all the time. Gabby likes to snooze!

Hey, Michelle, do you think you can lend out that son of yours, lol....I can do the lawn stuff, but I am deathly afraid of heights and have a really hard time doing my gutters...plus my ladder doesn't reach all the way up and I have to stand on my tippy toes...not very safe!!!
I think Spot misses out on his +9 pm snack most nights since civvie Ali seems to have discovered what that white thing on the counter is for, and Spot seems to sleep pretty soundly around that time. Oh well.....

Hey Mannie, Now that you know what your feeder is all about it's up to you to keep Elsa out of it!! Maybe she needs one of her own?? Yep, the full moon (the Hunters' Moon) is on Saturday. Now, NCIC, on the way to the party all the kitties are welcome to go up to Camp Stu to hunt mice, grill 'em up, and take them to the party (if you don't eat them all first!!).

Good morning all! and yeah on the feeder stuff. Drives me nuts! Mannie knows what it is for, but .... this was the first morning when I saw Elsa head for it the moment it makes "that noise". Dang - she has figured out that he goes there to get food. oh well..... Bean is usually here to "fix it".

Hi Deb - I'll send my kid right on over... I hear ya on the lawn - and the roof stuff. It freaks me out up there, so out goes the SOS. It's two story house, the ladder is omg ancient and :shock: :shock: I am glad he says sure and heads on over. Guess I'll have to feed the kid... a big fat burger sounds good, with a mountain of fries. and no Mannie, you cannot come. burgers and fries are on your no-no list.

Nothing here so far, though I expect the storm moving in this weekend will take care of leaving some in the mountains. we are supposed to have, locally, a nasty winter (aha: nasty for us). bummer on the canceled ride... I hope to get out for a morning walk today, before the kid shows up, if Mannie's numbers go up....

Spot - ok then - we do something! Hey miss ellabean says we can come to camp Stu and hunt mice for the hunters full moon. how cool is that? surf Mannie - mama wants to go walking. excellent numbers for him. the last time Romeo found the feeder, I quit using it for a few days and he forgot about it and I leave it next to where Shadow likes to nap, hoping she'll "get it." Oh well, I'll keep trying.

anybody having weird things happen with posts since the recent update? and I'm curious about Google Adsense [bot] that is always in this room and not the others.

Hi Kim - I know on the feeders. i am determined to win this war. :-D I wonder too on the Google Adsense [bot]- no clue on that... ?? Only thing that has on occasion happened to me are posts that disappear once I've submitted them. they just vanish - different than when you don't notice when somebody else has posted at the same time , return to a forum and your post isn't processed. ??

Yay....finally lunch and I can visit some condos quickly. Great day for Mannie!! That boy DO know how to drop doesn't he??

Hope you are still able to get out and enjoy your day. I think we might have gotten your rainy weather from the other day...they said a Pacific NW storm here..rainy, COLD (60 degrees...that's like winter for us :lol: :lol: ).

BTW, I've had posts dropped, too, and had to repost them even though it seemed they went through..but when I went back to the person's condo, the post wasn't there. Glad it's not just me :lol:

Two great cycles in a row for Mannie! They sure are keeping us busy lately. I missed out on a lot today and last night, wasn't feeling up to the board however, Tess was enough to deal with.

Hey Anne - unfortunately, yes too late for the walk... bummer! it's alright though. I wanted to make sure he was on a rise, and by then my son had shown up. all good though. If it doesn't rain (paws crossed) we will go tomorrow. ah heck - will go even if it does rain. :-D

Hi Jan- even with as busy as this morning was I did manage to get a little outdoor time in. it was some yard stuff, with my son - but still great to be outdoors!!

Thanks Kristen - Mannie is grateful. He says he would love to come and visit Emma, and he promises that he will leave his bungees, trampolines, scuba gear, and newly acquired pogo stick home...

Hi Ann - there is part of me that just loves to see Mannie have back to back great cycles - the only "downside" (if one can even call it that) is that I was "chained" to this 'puter... Today was supposed to be a hike day, canceled because that little inner voice said stay home (good thing huh). :lol: :lol: so instead of tromping thru fall vistas and forging mtn streams i was doing BG tests, and feeding and monitoring my guy. all in all though it was good: I can hike any time, and Mannie was by choice #1 priority. besides after last night I was tired. ZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....
