What a nice day yesterday for Mannie: blue with green cycles - YAY! We did have a little bounce at PMPS into the yellows. Weird, funny, interesting: I had to be gone for a while last night for a music show with my son's band (which I ended up not making), and the minute Mannie knew I back home it was a instant drop into the greens. How coincidental is that? just weird.... We seem to be having another morning like yesterday - same AMPS too. What a great number to start the day with. :-D

Today is a nice mellow laid back Caturday morning. Even Mannie is in the groove: a slowwwwwww paced groove. I was greeted with purrs, and a very patient boy, waiting for his bean to get it together, get the food prepped. Breffis #1 down the hatch, plus an attempted raid on the civvies food. I think the light bulb finally lit for Mannie: he's realized that there are really yummy fuds in their bowls.. great.... :? Breffis #2: YAY: used his auto feeder, on his own, without bean interaction. HOORAY! It's still very dark outside: it got a quick peak, and off to sleep on the nanner pile. normalcy in Mannieland.

Hey guys!! Tess: way cool on the flying fish!! YAY: come on up - we can visit the market here and help the guys in the fish stand. They toss those fish so far and so high! Big HUGE salmon and stuff! And crabs, and lobsters and shrimps, and more fish!! Surely they won't mind if we... uhhhhh... help.... uhhhhh... with the fish some. :razz: What'd'ya think? ~~ Mannie

I think Mannie wanted you to see those greens last night. What's the point of having them if your bean isn't there to tell you how good you are and give treats and scratch all the right places?

Mannie the wonder Cat strikes again! I wish he'd teach that trick to Tess. We have a traveling kitty again today. Do you think she'll ever get used to it?

Nice start to the day Mannie. And using the autofeeder....Hoooraaay.

I've been putting Curry's food dish on the autofeeder to get her use to being near it. I think I'll try putting her snack in autofeeder itself and see if she'll eat out of it. Sure would make life easier if she would get her +8 snacks on her own.

Nice start for Mannie :-D and great news on the autofeeder we are still struggling with ours I am now giving almost all Do Lou's meals in the tray sitting in the autofeeder to try to get him used to just eating there and then hopefully he will start to use it this is the plan anyway :lol:

Sienne - no doubt you are right. I walked in the door - he heads to his test spot and sits there and waits - with that "see - look! i did good yes?" look. so of course he got the head pats, and scritches and "what a good boy"... they have us so programmed...

Hi Lisa! Hey Tena! I know on the feeder. I have been working on this for what seems like months - finally it is starting to kick in for him. I too have his bowl by the feeder, then gradually stated getting him to realize that the sound he hears means he needs to come eat. Slow progress, but it is coming together. YAY!!!

Tess, and all my buddies!!! YAY then on the fish market - anybody need rides? Roadster is ready... Hey Tess - I KNOW on bean cars - they just mean trouble Don't worry -we will come and rescue you from your traveling condo and then we can go the the market. Tell your bean that I have my meter, and well you can self test so - yeah... good to go on all counts! ~~ Mannie

You have been getting great numbers from Mannie lately with very little pink. How sweet! I hope you get some more today. I'm glad to hear that Mannie is learning the autofeeder too.

hi Marjorie - yeah, a little disappointed that the band was on so late. If they had been first up (there were four bands) then I would have stayed - but third made it way late.... oh well - next time. guess they did well, and had quite the crowd. kid was happy with the show.

Hi Muffin - Hey Moonie - what's up Gracie!! I am on my way - Roadster is ready to go, and the top is off. It is far too sunny to have it on.... but I did stow it, so ya know just in case... WOOT! we will go and save Tess, and then - the fish market! They have all kinds: salmon and trout and bass and and and.... they even have those nasty things we have here in the pnw: them gooeyducks: yuck, i hate them. it is a fun place in seattle - very famous fish dudes that bring the fish in from the sound and they toss them all the way up to the market stall, and it is such fun. the people that buy the fish get a chance to catch the tosses too - But hehehe: they all drop them - so hey more for us! See you guys! I am on my way!!! ~~ mannie

Gracie is at 82 at +11..expect her PMPS to be close to that. I know I'll need help. Will be reporting PMPS at about 7:20 pacific time.

Hi celi - yes on the video. i enjoyed it, and I could see what has become Mannie in that video. the side view mirror was fun. i just enjoyed the whole thing. it was great. thanks for posting it on my FB.

Hi Ann! I will test him again in a few and if he's still up then off to bed for me. DH will feed him his +8 and that should hold him. paws crossed! I hope he's still up. +5 was the last feed... if he's down, guess we start the process all over: the drill...........

67 @ +6. down a smidge, essentially the same number. We are at nadir, or very close to it. I fed a very small amount of LC. I am off to bed. DH will give him another small small amt of LC @ +6.5, and his usual snack at +8.

Oh how I miss my DH...he's my late night man, too. Get some great rest tonight, Michelle...wonderful day for Mannie. Oh yeah...no more fish markets if there's an ice cream shop nearby :lol: :lol:

70 @ +6.5. ok dun - and off to bed for sure. DH will fed at +7.5, and again + @ +9 for his normal snack.

hear ya Marjorie - I am grateful he can at least feed - he can't test, but is great to have for those middle of the night feeds.
