WOW - and what a day yesterday! :mrgreen: Mannie was a green kitty for most of the day, ending with a little bounce to 188. I was a little surprised to see the 167 this morning - perhaps a testimonial to the power of that +8/9 snack. Today we start out with a 167. Nice job Mannie. I am so proud of you - what a great day yesterday. cat_pet_icon So..... what's up for today? Another 30 strip test day? :cool:

What a trooper... He had to have been tired by the time we wrapped up last night. So many pokes, and yet he'd get up every time, never complained, except for one whimper at +5.7, and let me test. I thought I'd test when he was napping, but he'd get up anyways. Amazing... :-D He's bright eyed and chipper this morning. I was met with the usual good morning purrs and rubs. Chin scritches followed. Breffis could not be served fast enough - so many meows! My getting ready was really scrutinized - he watched every move. I received a purr and a leg rub when i asked if it was OK. :lol: :lol: Now he's headed off for his usual early morning nanner play slobber drool roll on, and sleep in they are mine activity. WOW - I couldn't ask for a better buddy.

Hey LL kitties!!! We are off to ellabeans camp today! She said yesterday that they would be there and that all kitties were welcome to come. We are going mice hunting, and maybe miss ella will let us make some mice stew. so - grab you day packs - we are off! Anybody need a ride? I can fire up the roadster, or borrow my unclebean's bands tour bus - it's kinda cool with bunk beds and stuff. So - See you there! ~~ Mannie

have a great day everyone! I'm off this afternoon to see friends in DT Seattle for afternoon coffee. It should be fun. Hear that Mannie? Today your bean needs a few hours off. please?

Very nice day you had yesterday, you 2! :) Looks like Mannie's heading in the right direction today, and it seems that Miss Blackie and Mr. Mannie will be surfing the greens today. :)

I hope Mannie honors your request but with these kitties, you just never know! What a great day yesterday. I hope Mannie enjoyed those numbers and keeps it up.

Hey John - yes, hope you are right. Well I can always feed him some MC before I go - not my fav thing, but I've done it before when I need to be gone. He thinks it's great - yummy off schedule food - it's like hitting the motherload.

BUZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Where you been - we have all missed you. Yes - you are on the tour bus - this is just so cool. Buzz is back. Remember the mouse hunts at camp? I am so excited that you can come. We are mice hunting today, and then making a batch of mouse stew. Grab your pack and wait on the side of the road - the tour bus is on it's way. My uncle bean says that the bus is really cool - they sleep in the bunks beds when on the road. Perfect huh? See you! ~~ Mannie

Ok, my bag is packed and I'm ready to go! I've always wanted to stand by the road and stick my thumb out like they do in the movies. Well, I don't have a thumb but I'll stick my paw out. I've missed everyone so much and I can't wait to catch mice (even though I've never done it before and might not be any good at it)! See you soon!!

wow, gone over night and all the kitties start diving! I feel guilty taking off again this afternoon.

I HATE not being able to check in until lunch time...look at all I missed. I need to retire so I can keep checking in during the day :lol: :lol: Three awesome cycles in a row!! I hope your mamabean got out for some much needed socializing and ~O) ~O) ~O) in the big city!! Great job, Michelle...I do not know how you function with that much testing and that little sleepus!

I did come home though to find Mannie's civvie sister Elsa eating his +9 snack. ohmygod_smile Looks like Mannie slept through that one. :lol: We are starting out tonight with a nice blue number - I wonder what this evening will have in store for us...

Mannie called ( :shock: he has a phone?) and said that mouse hunting was a huge success, that Buzz caught the first one. Guess everyone helped make the mouse stew. They had so many that they grilled up a few too. Tess was able to sit on ellabean's lap - she was so happy. :-D Apparently they spent the afternoon lounging on the camp porch with Stu's beans - telling stories and enjoying several batches of ella's catmint tea. Mannie said they didn't know when they would pack up the tour bus and head on home - all kitties wanted to stay and watch the sunset with Ella and Edward. His last comment: "Don't wait up!"

What a ride! It was so fun driving the butts with all you guys! WOOT! And the stew - yum! Spot I am soooooooo glad you brought your spice bag. I love these road trips... easin' on down the road... love you guys! ~~ Mannie

Where did these kitties get their phones?! I looked out the window while Buzz was waiting for the bus and I saw her texting away furiously, but then the bus pulled up and I couldn't ask her about it. I bet she was texting Blackie, wondering if he was going to come to camp, too. ohmygod_smile I am glad they are having fun with Ella and Edward, though. At least there are beds on the bus in case it's a late night!

169 @ +2. wow - this is just like this morning's cycle. hmmmmmmmmmm. perhaps another green one. :shock: Better tonight than tomorrow - though i am soooooooooooooooo tired. I hope to go hiking tomorrow - one of my last ditch efforts to hike alpine before the snows hit in a few weeks. I asked Mannie for the day - I hope he was listening.

Mannie! This was the best day, but sad too to be at Stu' camp. Ellabean was so nice to invite us! And she scritches so gently. Cool that we are so close , see you tomorrow and we'll hang, we'll figure out where. Soooo sleepy, the beans are up but I'm taking another nap. -- Tess

Hey Tess - I know it was so fun, but sad for me too. I miss my friend. Ella was so nice. I thought it was so cool when she picked up Raja and told her not to be afraid of the shots and stuff. Raja is so scared. I would love to hang tomorrow... my bean will be gone and I get bored at home by myself. I'm sleepy too - my bean has been poking me sooooooo much, and i get no sleep. Hi Lisa - it's been nice. But i am glad for a break tonight. no complaints on this nice blue surf. Even better in that I can go to bed at a normal hour. (uhhhhh - anti-jinx on that)
