We still have a mouse in the house. Ginger brought it to me again at +7. She let it go, and I set a live mouse next to the couch. She's staring at the mouse trap, now. I wonder, I don't think he's in there.

J.D. ate most of his breffis, until Ginger shouldered him out and ate the rest. She used to be such a dainty eater, that I started to feed her away from J.D. so he wouldn't enhale his food and then eat hers. Now, she's enhaling and going after J.D.'s before he's through :roll:

J.D. is sitting in his bed by the sliding glass door giving himself an after breffis bath.

Don't you just love the presents they bestow on us. Here in Houston we have huge tree roaches....ocassionlly the girls will find one of those rascals and show me with great pride.

Hoping J.D. is less bouncy today.

First she brings it in the house last night to show me, and then wakes me up in the middle of the night to show me. After close to screaming (I'm sure she felt my shock anyway) and making her drop it (because I don't know what else to do), then I give her all kinds of praise and pets. She must think I'm really confused :?
I had a dream last night that J.D. caught the mouse and ate it in 3 bites. He would eat it fast. Ginger just likes to play with them, and drive me crazy.

I have to get ready for tbp..

Is is Wednesday? Cool, only 3 more days. I FINALLY have a big 3 day weekend coming up. My vial of Levemir is almost gone, and I think it will last until we start a new one on the weekend.

my civie is the mouse catcher and must inform everyone in the house that he's caught one. I guess it's their way of contributing.

One time we had a mouse in our house .. and both the girls were on the dining room floor looking into the kitchen quite intently .. I got up to see what they were looking at and there goes a mouse trotting across the kitchen floor! It was almost as if they cats were saying, hey bob .. you're out earlier then normal tonight, whatcha up to? Anyways, hope that J.D. stops bouncing for you and comes back down today!

i always do the huge praise thing at the "gifts", cuz what could be more flattering than sharing a hard-won meal...but inside i'm thinking "yeccch"

So no matter what you do, you are always going to have one piggy trying to get the other's food, huh. Well, I guess Ginger is just getting JD back for all those times that he stole her food!! Go Ginger!

JD & Ginger...what's up wit dat mousey in da house??? You are lucky to hab dem around...I only get to play wit mole outside and dey seem to be gettin smarter cuz I don't see dem very often ennymore. Oh, btw...we are going to Ella's camp to go catch more mice and den NCIC Mannie and I are going to make some mouce stew. You guys in? We'll pick you up in da tour bus soon!! ..........Spot

So there is a mouse in your house...sounds like a Dr. Seuss line....but seriously, ginger brought it to you in the middle of the night? I am SO laughing Dyana...I just don't know what to say....
I thought that the mice had heart attacks and died after the cat played with them for awhile....hope you can find it if it's still alive when you get home. :-|

I came home to two very happy active cats, when I walked in the door. I think they got home from camp just before I returned home. And the mouse seems to be gone. Ginger has officially given up, so I think she knows it was donated to the stew. The mouse trap was closed (humane, live trap) and there was no mouse inside. I think they either shared it, since almost no left out food was touched today, or they were gone all day and took the mouse to the camp with them.

J.D. went off wandering outside right away when I got home, and he went into the very nearby wood strip and our now almost grown up abandoned baby bunny rabbit goes running out, like J.D. instigated that run. He went outside again about an hour later, and when he returned, he came to me at a brisk trot, when it was time to come in.
These are feeling-very-good-today, kitties.

J.D. ate 2 dinners so far tonight, and Ginger finished hers first again, and came down to help J.D. finish his. It's amazing that she eats as much as he does and she is 10lbs to his 15lbs.

Mouse is probable back out in the fredom.
I did have a chipmunk for 2 days in the house with 2 cats - hmmm,cats!
But it's nice to hear that they are happy and have fun when mommy is not home (like kids)!

I'm liking the PMPS better than the AMPS. Do you think mouse brings down numbers?
