Happy Friday, LL
It sure seemed to take a long time for Friday to get here this week, but its finally here. I'm sending healing vines to our ailing kitties and peaceful prayers to Linda and Bear Man on this difficult day.

Blackie surprised me this morning with a 113 at +12. Since he was at 178 at +6, I didn't know if he was going up or still coming down so I waited until +12.5 to shoot. DH will get a +2 and then we'll see when I have to go home from tbp to check him. I didn't give Blackie his SubQ's last night because he had a "lump" of fluids still on his back that had not been absorbed. My CRF groups said to skip the fluids. But the "lump" is still there this morning so I have a call into the vet. Blackie wouldn't have gotten fluids this morning anyway with that low amps.

WCR: Blackie is feeling fine. He didn't understand why he didn't get his normal breffis on time this morning, but he was patient. Last night Blackie was begging for food at the dinner table, and I had to be quick when I was clearing the plates because there was a black paw ready to grab a plate. :mrgreen: Blackie was enjoying our cool morning outside when I left. All p's are in place.

Just got the call from the vet. He said it sounds like either Blackie doesn't need fluids anymore or he may have an abcess at the site where we give fluids. He said if the lump is still there on Monday that he would like to aspirate it and see what it is. In the meantime, no fluids for Blackie.

Quick paw to the draw....Blackie is a sneaky little kitty...sounds like a couple of mine.....

Yes, flat yellow today. Maybe a bounce from unknown greens last night? We'll never know. The lump is still there. My CRF group suggested I check Blackie's respiration and heart rate and told me how to do it. I'm going to try it later when I can find some quiet time. They said that not absorbing the subQ's could be congestive heart failure or other problems. I don't think its that because he's feeling so good, but I'll check resp & heart rate anyway.
