Good morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) brrrrrr out there is AM, needs lots of those...

To all my LL buddies: today is a special day - Stu comes home today, to his final resting place in his garden. I am going, to celebrate our friend, and bring him flowers. All kitties are welcome to join me. ~~ Mannie

What a blue kitty yesterday - blue in a good way. Blue with a spec of green. Nice job Mannie! cat_pet_icon Today seems to be starting out the same - with a 175 amps. More blue surfin' today, maybe some green?

Nice and peaceful here this morning - no bellowing kitties, no fights over who gets fed first, no hallway races... :shock: Must be the cool temps this morning - everyone is napping. I should be doing that too.... Mannie is his usual cuddly, purring self: purrs for test, purrs for food, purrs for his shot, purrs for face washing. Interior has been patrolled, with a quick check to make sure my hike gear wasn't out and ready to go somewhere. :? Breffis #1 and #2 down the hatch, not a crumb left, bowls were licked clean. Once all was to his satisfaction, and the belly was full he was off for some serious nappin' - as usual on top of the nanners. Normalcy in Mannie land.

I hope everyone has a great day, that all our kitties are safe, that all our ailing kitties feel better soon.

45 @ 4.5. WOO HOO, and GO MANNIE. the fdmb champion action once again. my gracious! fed another tsp of HC, test again in 30 minutes - if I get another number in the 40's the karo comes out. I'd really like to see him out of the 40's. :roll:

As silly as this is - what a fitting tribute for Stu's day today - 40's from my guy, for a guy who was the master of scuba diving.

To all my LL friends! You guys are the best. We will celebrate Stu with a grand memorial - more flowers than his garden can hold, more food than any one can eat. I will cook, as best I can - been working on learning Stu's catmint parfaits, so we will have those, and I hope they are OK. See you guys there! Luvs you all!! ~~ Mannie

we'll see if it was overkill or not, but even if it was... don't worry about it. it's only one cycle. no big deal. everything we do or don't do is recorded on a ss for a reason... to learn from it. :-D

Mannie...I was slow starting this morning after that vetty trip yesterday but I'm ready to go honor Stu at his garden with lots of catnip, flowers, and his favorite foods. Just tell me what I can bring!!

Thanks Jill - probably could have gone with a lower carb - but it's ok - still green at 70 @ +5.5. I did not fed this one, he is close to his nadir, and will check him again at +6, and go from there. and yes indeed on the learning.

Just keep an eye on the numbers like you've been doing. It seems like Mannie wants to be in the deeper water to surf today.

Mannie, I'm on my way! I'll bring rosemary "that's for remembrance" and a sack of lizards for the grill. Stu loved your grilled lizards! We can put some rosemary on the coals too. Ya think we'll be having a pj party tonight? I have leftover pizza...it's from the supermarket, tho. I went in a different direction today, so no pizza joint. I got 2 movies from the library in case Im up all night, but I might be sitting on here, commiserating with you. :lol:

Pizza - anytime, anywhere, even if it is supermarket. :lol: :lol: I'll watch for you "out there" in you PJ's, with leftover pizza, and movies - actually sounds rather good...

Hey Mannie, Hey Everybody. Ellabean here just to let you all know that Stu was already here at home (in spirit) when we walked in the door. And then he went out into the garden to sit by the catmint and be with all his pals. Today is the 13th anniversary of Stu's birth (according to the papers we received when we adpoted him from the ASPCA), so it is really fitting that all his friends should party on his birthday. The flowers and foods they brought are wonderful. Stu is proud of each and every one of them and he will be keeping his eye on their progress in FD.

Edward and I are OK. We see Stu everywhere here (because he is everywhere). When his ashes arrive (later this week or early next week) we will put them in the ground next to the catmint. Mannie, be sure to take some catmint home with you tonight so that you can keep up the tradition of catmint parfaits at all future parties.

All for now. We love you all and so much appreciate your help during this time.
Party on, kitties! And no deep-sea diving tonight, OK Mannie?

Hey Ella - quite the party going on when you got there huh... The kitties wanted to remember their bud, they couldn't think of a better day to do that than today. So they did. How fitting that it is also Stu's birthday. How perfect is that! Besides, Mannie wanted to practice his culinary skills :-D - he soooooo nervous, what with an otj party coming up in a few days.

I am glad that you guys are doing OK. We all think of you often, and had hoped as much. Take care, and hope to see you visiting us often. Welcome home!

uhhhh Miss Ella? I promise that I won't go diving... I kinda did already today, cuz well it was Stu's day, and well uhhh we really liked to go diving, so I did. Outstanding job today, Michelle. I hope Mannie has a quiet night in store for you and he gets rid of that bounce quickly!!

I had sooooo much fun today, Mannie. You did a great job in honor of Stu and his birfday!! The catnip parfaits were.....PARFAIT!! Didn't Tess and Gabby and Muffin and Moonie, and Raja look so cute!!! Today was just what I needed and my beans took long nappuses but when I got home it was pouring down rain!! I think autumn is finally here flip_cat flip_cat flip_cat Now I can stay out in my kitty cage all day without getting too hot.

Mannie, the memorial was beautiful, and it was Stu's Birthday!! I know Stu was proud of you in the kitchen, you handled it so well. I think Ella and Edward appreciated the head butts and ankle rubs from everyone, I really wanted to sit in Ella's lap but i wasn't sure if it was too soon. Oh, I'm crying again .....

Mannie, that was a very nice gathering, you had for Stu. I hope he liked all the foods and flowers the kitties brought.

Hey guys - thanks. It was ok, wasn't it. I just love cookin' - I'm so glad that it came out OK. Ellabean gave me some catmint for me to take home so that I can grow it in my yard. I am so happy - now we can keep Stu's parfaits on the menu. flip_cat Looks like the kitchen crew is ready to go. Hey Tess - I know! I too wanted to jump on ellabeans lap, but i didn't know... i decided to give leg rubs instead. wow what a day - i am tired. my bean said I could go to bed early, that there would be no more pokeys tonight. i am glad. i have this warm feeling in my heart. it is soooooo nice. i think i will go and sleep with it, and hope it is still there in the morning. i think it will be. it's so nice to have such good friends :-D ~~ Mannie
