I'm fairly certain now that her breathing is louder. I think the mass in her nasal passages is coming back :cry:

I'm having a regretful day - regretting the 2 1/2 years I spent primarily with BF/ex-BF before Kasha was dx'd with FD. How could I have thrown away so much time with my girl? Why would I have ever chosen him over her?

I think that is partly why he and I haven't spoken in 1 1/2 weeks - I don't think he can understand that I choose Kasha.

I choose Kasha.

I choose Kasha.

Over everything else. I would choose 1 week with her over a lifetime with anyone else.

((((Krys)))) I'm so sorry for your regrets. I think I understand, too. I had some bad BF's in my time that took priority for a while. We all make mistakes. Sending more healing vines to Kasha and comforting vines to you.

Krys, we've all made some mistakes and done things we have regretted. I used to play the what if game, but you know that just drove me crazy. Can't play that game and stay sane. At least you can spend time with Kasha now...focus on that!

I have to agree with the others my list of regrets could go on and on that whole thing about hindsight being 20/20 is so true (((((((HUGS))))) to you and sending healing vines for Kasha tonight

We all make decisions that seem right at the time. Maturity and experience teach us all valuable lessons. If you're wise, you don't keep making the same missteps. There is a quote from Einstein - "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." If you are making different choices, then you have learned from your experience and there is no need for regret.

Oh Krys, if only we could do over.We all would do some things diferently. How could you have known then, what you do now? You can drive yourself crazy with the 'if-onlys'. You didn't know Kasha would get sick. You are a good mom to her. Love on her NOW. I'm so sorry you feel these regrets and are so sad. :YMHUG:

I'm sorry the BF didn't respect your commitment to Kasha. You shouldn't have to choose or live with someone's resentment over your choice. We should all be so lucky to have the kind of care we are dedicated to giving to our pets. It's his loss that he doesn't understand but I'm sure it still hurts.
