She is so skittish...running all over the house and hiding this morning. I found her in my closet and gave her the shot. Then I brought her into the computer room and put the food in front of her. She ate a little and then scooted back to my room and into the closet again! This is going to be a long day with her and that attitude. But, she knows bet, right? "I am ALL better" she says....."I don't need that stuff anymore...go away please"
Somehow, I managed to test her during the night because she was available. Very precise with her two 92s but this morning, she doesn't want to play this game anymore! :roll:

Well, can you blame her, the poor thing....all of a sudden she gets pokies and shots. Poor Poor Raja...just makes you sad, it does. And you, Pat...you have the nerve to do it to her!! Mothers are the root of all evil sometimes....

Just spoke to the vet office...I will pick up Cestex (in lieu of the Droncit) and Panacur plus one month of Advantage to the two of them...Thereafter I will use the Revolution.
They will be running a feline heartworm test on Raja's blood.

After about 2 weeks, I will go have a CBC and check the Eosinophil values at that point.

Raja is still in the closet. She never needs the refuge when there are violent thunderstorms, but when babies and the occasional drooler ever come to the door, she is back in there! I guess today she is take refuge from the mean Mama. You are so right Deb! :lol: Mothers are the root of evil sometimes!

Raja's numbers are looking good. I am encouraged that this treatment will be shortlived and she will be back to the Falls in no time.

Speaking of the Falls, where does that refernece come from? I understand that's where our kitties in remission go, but why the Falls? What's the obvious reference that I am missing?

Good Morning, Pat. Poor little Raja thought she was all through with the pokey things. I hope she gets accustomed to the routine again quickly. Then, I hope she will be off the routine and back to the falls soon.
Yuck, thanx for the reminder that Sept is almost over. Sounds strange to hear of the heat in other states, when I've already had my furnace on , to take chill off the house in the morning.

I dragged her out of her cube to test her. Little gray ball of fur! She tucks herself into a little ball when I pick her up to test her. It's her "Vet Office" act. Anyway, I put her down and then went to give her food. All i saw was the wiggling little butt running into my bedroom. I brought Her Majesty some food ...ugh....feeding my kitty in my closet! She ate half and tried to bury the rest with the nice towel that was in the box.

Talk about ATTITUDE! I am getting a LOT more than just the silent treatment. She is very angry. ohmygod_smile

She is in the old empty LBs that I stowed in there when I got the Breeze system...poor thing. Shadow is in the box. I pulled her out and tested the little gray ball. then I put a nice towel in there for her. No matter, I am still a bad mother!
:YMSIGH: Heading out to the vet to get a whole bunch of pills for the potential worms and some advantage for the two of them...this should be interesting! ;-)

Awww, poor Raja! She sounds like Thunder when I have to give him his pill or oral meds....Its a good thing he's a little hefty because I can run faster than him when he tries to get away!! I always feel like he hates me when I'm done, but I hope he realizes I'm giving him the medicine because I love him and want him to feel better and be healthy....at least that's what I keep telling myself anyways!!

But great looking numbers for Raja!! Hopefully this will be short lived and you can focus the pokes on Shadow instead...I'm sure she'd like that better!

She got her Advatnage and a Cestex tablet. I just got in in her mouth somehow. Poor little kitty.She is in the cube in the living room now so I guess it isn't all bad. AND, the vet office called after I got home from there. The C & S came back clear and just fine! So, that is good news! We will try to rid them parasites out if any, with the Panacur tomorrow and for 2 days after that. Shadow is also getting the same treatment.
Raja used to jump over the fence on the terrace...a few months ago. We used to let her stay out there for awhile before it got so beastly hot here. She would wander down the walkway, past the other 3 apartments and go lie in front of my DSIL's door at the end of the building. She would also wander around downstairs too until i would find her. No telling if she came in contact with fleas or mosquitoes. (My DH says there re no mosquitoes in Madeira Beach, but I beg to differ) :lol: The Eosinophil numbers were just too high to not do anything. I guess she will go in for blood work in 2 weeks, according to Jess. We will see then if the count is still high. I hope not.
