Hi all! Yesterday was BLUE day. :-D :-D Mannie surfed both cycles in blue - awesome day. We are up some this morning to a 297. Wish it was blue, but better than pink - which in itself is an improvement. :thumbup Mannie, a while back, was a given to a pink amps. Looks like maybe we have broken that trend? (anti-jinx) I've also given some thought to upping the dose to a 3.50, looking for more consistent blue ps, with greens in the middle. Maybe a couple more cycles on this dose, then decide.

One happy dude this morning! dancing_cat Patiently waited for his breffis (Mannie? - patient??). He was busy preening while he waited - saw him cleaning his injured paw - good news: it must be feeling good for him to spend so much care with it. Breffis #1, and #2 eaten with gusto (so much for the patience thing), though we are still working on the feeder doing the feeding. Seems he wants to be served, not go get it... :roll: Interior has been secured, and the exterior got a thorough sniff from his perch through the opening in the window. Such intensity! has returned. It's been a great normal morning for Mannie.

Happy Furday to everyone! Shopping and errand day here... other than that -- who knows?

Good #'s, Michelle! :) Looks like both Blackie and Mannie are getting there. :) Blackie gave me a pink # this morning, and I thought she would considering that she wasn't looking like that she was feeling good this morning.

Hi Angela! THX - and I hope Blackie feels better. Some kitties are so susceptible to the pink numbers, they just feel out of sorts.

291 @ +2, down just a hair... come on Mannie - back to the blues - but slowly, please. :-D

Morning Michelle. Oh yeah, yellow is better than pink. :smile: Mannie seems to think Pinkis not his color. Yay!

Ours kids are giving us a break today. Think they know just how far they can push us? Besides, I think he knows that "shopping" means more catfood.

Moonie is whipping up chicken & livers a la king for Mannie!
She wants him to feel really good again so they can play!

Looking good in blue Mannie and Michelle I tried the automat once again today for work and sigh... came home to dried un eaten merricks food and its one of his favorites I even have the automat on my bed where he likes to eat :roll: but I guess its just too weird I am still going to keep trying at least my son was able to feed him at 1 or we are going to have problems with him not having food on these long work days with both DH and myself gone if he does not get the hang of this auto thingy I am wondering if I should try the kind with 5 compartments since the lid does not open up abruptly on that kind maybe Do Lou hates his for that reason Ok I am babbling on about the feeder thingy sorry ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile hope your day was a good one :-D

Babble all you want on the feeder thingie. I don't mind - am in the same boat.... Mannie still doesn't put it together for the mornings. Now when it goes off i the afternoon he's right there. :shock: Go figure on that one. I think for me I'm trying to undo really old habits - morning is just never been in the auto feeder before - he just believes that somebody will dish up that food for him and serve his royal highness. It's just so funny - he hears the thing, looks at it, won't go to it, but instead sits by his bowl. And they can't be more than 4 feet from each other! ohmygod_smile I shall win the war!

oh - on the 5 compartment one - it is what i use and have had no problems with it - but there are several here who have bad luck with them not working, opening half way, etc etc etc, and they've gone back to the 2 compartment one. well good luck - I know how it is when we are gone all day and they need food.

160 at pmps! YAY - nice and blue. I may get a +1 here - it's really not so low as to be of concern, but is on the slide down.... so maybe a +1 would be good.

I'm on it. Got the pot, got the chicken (or, at least Moonie has it) and on my way. That chicken soup is so delicious. Muffin will love it. Hey Mannie, I never did get to blue today, but tomorrow I'm bringing my multi-colored board to Tess's so that I can surf anything. What do you think about synchronized surfing? It sounds pretty difficult. Dorothy/Binks is a little crazy, ya know, but he needs to be indulged. Maybe we should give it a whirl?

It's unanimous!! the chicken soup brigade has been called to duty, assembled, on on its way. I've been trying to replicate Sot's spices... uh dare we try? probably not! Looking good tonight Mannie! You do need to figure out your feeder for the mornings though. If Emma can do it, you can do it Mannie!

I've been feeding her PS meal on the couch, and then put the rest in the open slot of the feeder. She takes a rest after her shot, and then goes and eats the rest of breakfast over the next couple of hours. So far the replacement 5 compartment feeder is working ok. She's finally figured out the +9ish snack, so I don't have a kitty hollering at me to get up in the AM anymore! Woo hoo!

Hi Kristen - so nice on the +9 snack! Go Emma! It is soooo nice when they figure it out, and you don't have to tend to it. Love it. She will have to come and teach Mannie. :-D

92 @ +3.5, fed more HC, will test in 30 minutes :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

99 @ +4. did not feed HC. chicken snack was overdue, with a 99 i elected to let him have his treat instead of HC. will test again at +4.5.

hi michelle. instead of increasing the dose...
what about decreasing the amount of hc you're feeding and see if mannie can hold these surfs on his own with mostly lc?

Hi Jill - sure - I'd be willing to try that. i will do this going forward - already kind of a dun deal for today.

92 @ +4.5, still with the HC, test in 30.

99 @ +5. so.... thought I'd see, based on what Jill suggested, going with 7% at +5. we shall preliminary peek at what the change will do. test again at +5.5
