Yesterday's Condo

Thank you all for the most unbelievably funny condo yesterday! I didn't stop laughing all day long! Every time I checked in there was a new post! You guys...I hope I'm not gonna get in TROUBLE! nailbite_smile You really are so wonderful...each and every one of you! Many thanks for all you do and for helping us so much! :YMHUG:

Last night after the +7, I went to sleep on the couch with my cell phone set for +8. I woke up at +10, thank you very much. @-) Very annoyed with this alarm situation! I then went back into my own bed and napped for another hour. He had a very nice AMPS this morning and is now snacking on a little LC after his +1. He is purring and happy as usual, dear sweet Shadow. Shoot Low to stay Low! That's what you say, right? :razz:

Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday...two OTJ parties today...Congratulations to Yoda and Johnny! :mrgreen:

I know what you mean about funny condos. I think between Shadow and Gabby's condo we have routines for someone who does stand-up.

Oooh, great number to start today, even after the peach pie! You were up late last night again so you are allowed to sleep through one alarm. Especially after having a bunch of wild crazy people in your condo all day. Hahahaha!

He had a little snack at +1 and +2. He keeps going back into the box in the closet. I have told him that I will need him to make himself available to me...but he just turns away and heads back in there. I don't think he wants to play this game today. Oh well....

So glad I missed yeasterday's condo! Yes, I wrote yeasterday on purpose.

And to think I went to Cheesecake Factory for lunch and was surrounded by all those yummy desserts!

Pat - seriously - the nature's logic is fine from a carb level (ok, while I don't know the exact #), I do believe it's way low carb in the 1-3% range. So, I don't think Shadow's issue was that at all. If they like the food, then continue feeding it, I add water to it, because it's so dense. I also noticed that it doesn't smell bad either, it actually has little to no smell.

And I made brownies last week, ok boxed brownies - but they were gooey, ooey good. And yes, you must eat the dessert quickly and immediately as you don't want mold or paw prints to grow in it!

And thanks Ann...but it really was a lot of laughs yesterday, wasn't it? I just don't want to get in trouble. But you know, we are all dealing with such serious issues and I think the silliness breaks up the intensity of what we are all going through.. That's MHO anyway... hope others agree... :mrgreen:

ETA: I had a piece of the Cottage Inn Peach Custard Pie and now I am getting the shakes... :YMSIGH: It was to die for...and Libby told me it would be good for breffis with coffee...maybe not for me...I need protein in the morning. Oh well, I better go back and have some more...there IS sour cream in it...that's protein, right?
I need more sour cream, yeah, that's it!! :roll:

The pie was IS really delicious! I bought a regular pie crust and next time I will buy a deep dish one. I had to use the two pie crusts and the one pie is a little skimpy...so it is technically a "reject" and is not fit for anyone else to eat so I guess I will just have to either throw it out... ( :lol: FAT chance) ...or eat it myself.

Oh..don't worry....I don't mind really...cause it's only the BEST for my DH, ya know. I'm considerate like that, you know?
I don't want to serve him an irregular pie...it might not even taste as scrumptious as the other one...so I will compare the two. After all, he is the King of the Castle...all foods must be perfect for him!!

Yeah...that's it!! I will compare the perfect pie with the skimpy, flat imperfect one...
I'll get back to you on that! :!: Maybe some whipped cream would make it better...camouflage it's imperfections...poor little pie....it looks so sad sitting there in its flatness....
Oh, I didn't use the brandy... :lol: good thin, huh??? :lol:

I looked up that pie recipe, good to know it is as delicious as it looked. You definitely don't want to serve the skimpy pie to that man of yours. The considerate thing would be to keep it for yourself. :lol:

I opted to be good this morning. There was a suggestion w/ my recipe to cook slices of the bread pudding as french toast! Went with the healthier option and got DH to make fresh biscuits. :lol:

Pat - besides the many times you have popped into my condos to cheer me up, there's another thing to thank you for - teaching me the value of the +1 check. a great little piece of info to have in my arsenal. took me a while to realize it, but that's a nugget of wisdom.

Beautiful numbers today! Yes, the considerate thing to do with the imperfect pie is to keep it to yourself, you wouldn't want poor hubby to have to suffer through such a thing! :lol:

Oh no you cannot eat an imperfect pie you cannot mask or hide the imperfections. You must get rid of it immediately and I will be kind enough to help you. Package it all up and ship oit to me. I will dispose of this inperfect pie impostor immediately. You haven't a moment to waste hurry now get it out of your house!
