I was a little squid shy this morning, so I got the +1 before I gave the squids (aka fluids - got the new term from Helene). DH taught his mother to test yesterday and she got the +7 all by herself yesterday. She's going to get our +6 today. She lives about a mile away and is retired so it shouldn't be a problem to have her test for us. More trouble with my alarm last night - I wanted to get a +7, but didn't wake up until +8.5. :sad:

Blackie may have gotten into the green last night, but I'll never know.

WCR: Blackie is feeling good. Last night he sat between us and tapped my leg to try to get some of my dinner. No way - too spicy. He went outside before breffis this morning and ate really well last night and this morning. All P's are in place.

Good thinking about the timing of the squids...good job! I am just loving Blackie's numbers lately...
So cute about him tapping your leg for some of your dinner...sharing is nice...sometimes Blackie...not always!

Lucky you, to have mil so close by, and willing to help. My DD is more than willing, but lives ten miles away.
What nice numbers Blackie's been showing. :smile:
Love that he taps your leg for goodies....meanie didn't share though. :lol:

Wow - nice start today!

Cute on the leg tap. Mannie just stares and stares and when he gets no response it's a jump on the table :shock:

Cute WCR, Ele! :-D That's funny about the leg tap. Cricket (civvie) does that to me, but to make me pet him, not to be fed. Blackie is having a great day so far, and how awesome that your MIL is willing and able to test, and that she's had success already. That must be a relief for you guys.

Hope tbp isn't too b today. At least it's Friday!! :mrgreen:

Nice blue start today. I like the polite leg tap. Tess lays on her side w/ paws curled up under her chin in the "pitiful starving kitty" pose, when that doesn't work it's either the sneaky paw or a full frontal assault on the plate.

MIL couldn't get the test at +6 so I ran home to test and now I'm afraid to leave. I'll test again in 15 min and see. DH will be home for lunch at +8.

Too late - Blackie is already worrying his bean. I'm going to try to leave work early so I can check again.

I see Blackie is up to his usual Friday tricks! I'm glad the +8.5 was at least a little bit higher. Maybe he's going to start surfing right into a nice PMPS!

I'm going to wait on squids tonight until I see where Blackie's numbers are going. If he heads to a bounce, I'll give them, otherwise, I'll probably skip them.

I'm sorry I didn't get to many condos today. Another crazy day at tbp and its our wedding anniversary today, so I'll be gone a little while tonight. I hope everyone had a good Friday.
