Mannie had a decent day yesterday - well as far as I know it was all decent. I had gone hiking yesterday, and fed 7% through the morning cycle to ensure a safe surf while I was gone: listened to my inner voice that said I should. I came home to a 139 - so perhaps that inner voice was right. PM cycle was a nice blue surf! YAY!!

I did fatten Mannie's dose this morning - up from a 3.25 to a 3.25F. Libby suggested it - I think she is right, that Mannie could use a little shot in the arm to bring on more of the blues and the greens. So we shall see if a fattened dose does the trick. I think I need a magnifying glass to measure that. :lol: :lol:

Normalcy in Mannie-land. Breffis #1, and #2 eaten - still working on the feeder thing - he just doesn't put two and two together: feeder sound = go get food. I think he truly prefers being fed and having it delivered. :roll: sheshhhh. but we keep trying. Many purrs to be had, lots of head pets and chin scritches. Mannie the supervisor made sure I dressed properly this morning, and double sure that my hiking gear was stowed and not out. :lol: :lol: Interior secured, exterior on hold until sunrise. Fall is coming!: 6AM and it's still dark out.......

Morning Michele....Mannie is sunshiny this morning in his yellow! :razz: I bet that little extra juice will bring some fun time for you both soon! Have you ever put treats into the feeder? I think people have had success with treats as a motivator! :lol:

Hi Pat - might have to go the treats route... he is so used to being fed, uh catered, his morning breffis's that I get the "so what about the bowl and serving me" look when the feeder makes that sound... silly boy! :roll:

Wrong way, Mannie! :sad: Maybe he's just trying to make sure he's allowed to go to Camp Stu? He perhaps learned his lesson from Buzz...

We actually have sunshine in the morning! :-D I'm nearly on your schedule again, but it is going to take a lot of getting used to. @-) I think we have to increase the coffee budget.

Ann - caffeine is the elixir of o-dark-thirty... :lol: :lol: HAHA: first thing on my weekly shopping list is ~O) ~O) ~O) , plus a trip to the local coffee haunt. :-D :-D Been an early riser for forever, or so it seems. Thank somebody that there has always been a coffee budget.

Still no sun! Cloudy, cool, windy, overcast - just waiting on the rains... Darn weather is wrecking havoc on my hikes.... :sad:

Hey buddies! Tess - I KNOW - i got more stuff today, just a little - whatever that means. And Muffin and Buzz!: I am already out the door, with promises to my bean that I will text her my tests. This meter thing ain't that hard. :? We can help each other and then our beans can let us party more.... I dunno what we are cooking at Stu's - I think he wanted to try new stuff again. 185 @ pmps - down some YAY! Steady there mannie, OK? I love the greens and stuff and really want you there safely - but your bean has a dinner to go to tonight, and can't keep tabs on you.... so: surf! OK? no diving, please!

Well, after a night like last we can see Mannie DEFINATELY can surf the bloos nicely! Good job Mannie!

Maybe with the bump, Mannie can learn to surf the greeeeeeeeeens! :mrgreen:

168 at +1 - I fed 8% - hoping to slow the drop until I get back from dinner. I will get a +2, but probably nothing more until a +5. SO be good Mannie!

Isn't it a relief when we get to see blue again? Tess on the other hand is being a tease.

123 @ +2 - fed HC 18%, dropping a little fast here. I have one more test and feed before I need to go. Hope the HC does the trick. It should.

Hey Mannie, Thanks for visiting me today at camp. We scrounged around and found some good stuff to cook. Chicken & dumplings in the freezer made for some good laughs (how to defrost??). And it was cold here, and windy. But everyone had fun anyway even though we didn't much feel like swimming in the lake. Good numbers for you tonight, but I think I got a fur shot this morning!! See you tomorrow. I have to go home from camp because the race is heading north.

Stu dude!!! We had such fun!! The dumplings were kinda cool. pssssttt - don't tell your bean we were using them like hockey pucks for a while. :lol: :lol: I love your camp.... Do you get to go there in the winter too? see you tomorrow maybe? I got good food tonight cuz my bean had to go to a dinner.... and well she was worried I was falling too fast :twisted: and i was. WOW: what a night - Mannie went from a 220 at +9 to a 88 at +2.2 (after HC with karo) - more than obvious that he was headed to some low stuff tonight. And I had a anniversary dinner I could not miss - so..... as much as I hated to do it - loaded him with 2 feedings of 18% with gravy at +2 and +2.3, with a few drops of karo, and headed out the door. came home 4 hours later to a 153. scary - wonder how low he went.... and could he have surfed green if i could have stayed home with him. maybe.

125 @ +6, down some. fed a tsp 8%. DH will give snack at +8/9. I hope to make the +9 test. for now NI NI.

What a great idea about treats in the feeder! Shadow hasn't figured out that feeder thing yet either.
