Mannie must have been surfing the yellows last night - we have a 224 at amps. I am glad that he didn't stay on the pink floor too long. I am off to go . Be good Mannie, OK? I will see you about +11.... so no diving while I am away. I have left food in the auto feeder, and DH is home for a bit this morning to make sure that he eats.

Very affectionate this morning. and lots of purrs and cuddles. Breffis #1 eaten with no complaints. #2 to be served shortly, then I am out the door. Napping is in order this morning: it's cool, still dark, a little cloudy. Perfect nap weather. Interior has been patrolled, civvies put in their place. Mannie is very excited about visiting Stu at camp on Friday.

Hope you have a great hike and I'm sure Mannie will be a good boy for you while you're gone :smile: Yellow AMPS's must be going around today....seeing alot of them in the condo's. Much better than that unmentionable color!

Have a great hike today, it is so nice of Mannie to co-operate. I just wish Tess wasn't "co-operating" quite so much the last few days.

Thanks everybody for visiting Mannie's condo today while I was gone - and a special thank you to Tess for making sure he was awake....

What a nice thing to come home to - a 139! YAY!! Mannie you totally rock. And the purrs - omg they were non stop until I petted and praised and said thank you for being such a good boy. Wish I knew what he did today....

I still worried tough when I was on my hike - silly. Made it home with only a few minutes to spare before ps - cutting it too close. and well you know the drill when you've been gone all day: "hey Mannie - I'm home! :-D uh Mannie? dude? Mannie! :? UH MANNIE? :shock: MANNIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! nailbite_smile uhhhhh you OK? nailbite_smile and it's about this time that he pokes his head around the corner with that "just what is your issue woman" look on his face, and then the attitude: "move it - dinner is going to be late". yep - the boy was just fine...

hike was great - an alpine lake at 5800 feet in the central cascades. but a worker - it was like climbing 2 miles of stairs without any flat spots :shock: but I made it... gorgeous lake! fall colors are starting to make an appearance - it a couple of weeks it will just be very very pretty.

Good job Mannie - such a cooperative boy today. Glad you enjoyed your hike Michelle. Hope Mannie keeps up a nice surf for you so you can get some sleepus tonight!

Your hike sounds gorgeous! I hope you go back in a few weeks and get some good photos of the leaves for us. :-D Glad Mannie behaved himself while you were away, and it does indeed look like he's setting himself up for a beautiful blue evening (antijinx).

I'm on my way to Bandit's party, too, but I wanted to tell you that I'll be at Stu's tomorrow, ok? We can cook and hang out and stuff, maybe we could even watch the Broadway performance of Cats (on DVD, of course; Stu is the only one who gets to go to the big city!). Anyway, see you tomorrow (and tonight, too!)!

nice blue, but if nothing changes tonight then Mannie could probably handle some fat added to that dose...
