I think Rufus was very steady today... but I wouldn't know, because I've been Suffolk the whole afternoon. I'd tell you more about his day otherwise.
"John" (or Finn) is ours ( ), we just have to wait until he's neutered to pick him up. They were very kind at Suffolk Animal Control - the tech (I assume she was a tech, because she was the only one in scrubs) started out pretty neutral, but once she figured out we were cat people she started bubbling up about her cats. We were given a bag with a dish, a collar, some toys, etc. for our new kitty and sent on our way. It took less than fifteen minutes.
For some unbelievable reason John-Finn has been in foster care since July. He arrived (with his littermate, Landon) covered in fleas and struggling with an upper respiratory infection, but is adoptable now (... or
was ;-) ). He's absolutely stunning with his flea problem under control. I LOVE his heterochromia - I can't believe that it was what kept other people from adopting him, but I can't think of anything else that would distract them from his beauty.
Now... we collect everything he'll need for his "safe room" until he can be integrated with the rest of the furry folk around here.
... Rufus agreed to share this post with his new soon-to-be housemate - you know, just to show off his happy, shiny intentions. (Rufus: cat(2)_steam )
