8/17 Fin AMPS 405 +2 383 PMPS 357

We had high numbers all last night, although urine did not increase much like it usually does. I am hoping he starts coming down this morning. Not sure if we had a fur shot or if we have something else going on. I always feel his fur where I give his shot and I have never felt any wetness. He did not get into any food because there was no food out for him to get into. Tested for ketones this morning and it was negative.

so you leave wednesday nite....does petsitter shoot and test?
will they be around to stay over or just to shoot?

by "any food" do you mean dry?

one more question, was there a PMPS last nite?

You may wanna save a strip for now, and check him around +2 or +3 this morning...make sure he has plenty of food on board too.

Morning. Petsitter will be staying here at the house. She is coming by today to go over stuff. She does shoot, but has never tested Fin's BG. I am going to go over it with her today. So, at least someone will be here at all times. By no food, I mean there was no dog food out for MiAmor and no cat food left out for C.C. I made sure they both ate when Fin ate and whatever they didn't finish I put away. Fin is on an automated feeder, and he eats every four hours starting with a big meal at 7 a.m. and his shot (see profile for details). He is wet food only. The PMPS was 397 (I see I missed this on the SS - added).

If you insist a little bit, your pet sitter might be willing to test BG.... or you can rent Ronnie for a couple of days! :lol:

I want a Rent-A-Ronnie!! If someone started a diabetic pet care service, I would totally pay for that....good business idea.

At least we stepped out of the reds....although, a yellow before I go would make me feel better.
