What a nice start for Mannie today - BLUE, and 168... and to think that I may have given a furshot is unreal. Not sure if I did, but the hand was wet, the cat was not, and maybe it was just water still there from my hand washing just prior - no clue as I am so blurry eyed at 4:30. :? I could have sworn the needle was all the way in... well - guess the day will tell. I would like to think that I have not blown a 168 amps. nailbite_smile Well let's hope not, and that Mannie will have a glorious blue surf, maybe even find some greens.

One cuddly Mannie this morning. Such purrs... He is elated that he got his breffis and his civvie sisters did not. All that hollering from the other two as their bowls remained empty. Poor babies! It is dental day for them. Well they can't be that hungry - they just went back to bed - little do they know.... Mannie is busy with his morning bath. Breffis #1 and # 2 done, indoor security done, prelim outdoor checked through the window, nap to be had.

Well Mannie's start of the day sounds wonderful. Hope it wasn't a fur shot. Oh, and Michelle - can you keep your cold weather awhile longer - I'm not ready for those temps yet!

Hope it wasn't a furshot, and you see some great numbers today! Good luck with the civvie dentals ... poor babies .. always feel bad for them even though they need it ... and don't listen to joyce, we are MORE then ready for those cold temps!

Hi guys - ok then - i will send some of our weather to MI, but make sure we skip Joyce's area. :lol: We've dropped to 56, it's cool, wet, misty, with rain on the way. oh goodie...

well a 208 @ +2. this almost looks like a repeat of 8/6... please no fur shot please no fur shot please no fur shot ... guess we shall see.

gotta get the civvies ready to go. a battle it always is. they see those carriers and it's splitsville big time. stealth and a covert operation is always required. Hidden carriers, seclusion is the rule, one at a time into the car and hope the loaded victim doesn't send out the kitty alarm to the other. :shock: good thing is is that the vet is next to the coffee shop - I see really good ~O) on the horizon....

NO, you can't send Devon the cold weahter and skip me - we are practically neighbors - only like 20 miles apart! Can we deal ? Stick to hot til after Aug 22 - then my canadian friends will be gone and if ya want to send the cold do it then.

Regarding carriers - I gave up. I put the carrier in the car. Carry cat to car and shove her in the car. (josie that is - Tuscany doesn't do carriers). Josie will then go to the carrier and spend the entire car trip there. Was way easier that way. I do have a garage so feel safe that she can't escape.

And while I am at it, I hope too that it wasn't a fur shot. The numbers will probably show whether it was or was not. Amazing how these things happen to us after all this time, isn't it? Good luck today!!

Good luck on the dentals, at least the coffee shop will ease your nerves, ....no that doesn't sound right. :? I hope you are wrong about the furshot, I think we obsess more about it than we should.

Hi guys - and thanks! Such carrying-ons by the girls - my goodness: screeches and bellows and howls all the way there. and joyce - yes on the carriers! i'm still bleeding from the one's "you're not doing that to me you evil person!" what an ordeal! :lol: :lol:

and yes to all on the fur shot. He is on the rise number wise, but the pattern is so similar to a past few days that I wonder. Well guess I will know as the day goes on. makes me sad to think i may have cost him a blue surf. oh well - it happens. and thanks Ann: coffee runs do relax me, know exactly what you mean. and yes - i too think we obsess more than we need to. always the "what if"... and Pat - yep, after 2 years one would think I would never ever give a fur shot - well uh.... sure.... :oops:

hey Joyce - Well bummer - don't think i can circumvent 20 miles. :lol: :lol: guess devon will have to wait.

254 @ +4. and for the record: I HATE DENTAL DAYS! wait wait wait, hope all is well, no extractions, no anesthesia issues this and that, and the $$$$, and and and.... saving grace: they are not FD, just healthy seniors who just have too much plaque and tartar, and bring on maxi-guard, which so far Mannie doesn't mind too much.

thanks guys! I like the oh-my-gawd i may be next theory. though he seems delighted to have the house to himself...

however: we have a 340 @ +6. oh boy :sad: :YMSIGH: ohmygod_smile so either a fur shot, or he is stressed that his sisters are AWOL. one never knows with him - the exterior demeanor is always the same, no matter what turmoil is going on underneath. oh boy - come on down Mannie. Now I feel bad. i dunno - today's cycle sure looks alot like 8/6, which was a high stress day for him, what with the vet visit and all.

more of: let's see what the day brings, new cycle starts in 6 hours........

So Mannie got off easy today, got to see his sisters leave and not him. HeHeHe is probably what was going through his mind this morning.

Sorry about the fur shot, Michelle, but I know that Mannie will get back on track tomorrow. You may be able to shoot a little early since the numbers are so high???? Maybe an hour earlier?

So Sorry your bean blew it this morning - too bad - it was such a lovely blue. ah heck - you're right Ann - it will get back.

Hi Deb - I bet Mannie was so elated when his sisters vanished into the car and he didn't. dancing_cat dancing_cat I can just see the high fives :lol: I did bump the shoot up some, not much though: His pmps wasn't too far off from his +9 - still ugly, guess I should be glad it wasn't over 500 :lol:

Aiyee - what a day! His sisters dental wasn't first up, so I have to wait til 5PM to get them - guess they were really still out of it when I called, and the vet doesn't ant to release them until they a more coherent - should be by 5PM. They passed though - no problems, no extractions, nice pearly whites. YAY... I dread to see my bill. :shock:

I don't think you'll ever know for sure if it was a fur shot or Mannie just wanting to be red. But now you will get him back on track. I'm glad your civie dentals went well, but sorry for the vet bill.

Sorry to hear about the fur shot!! They are the worst because you never really know for sure....and then its just annoying!!! So time for Mannie to come back down....slowly ok buddy!!!
