Monday already. Harley is starting out better at 266. I knew he did not have a low bg, no crying, no pawing at me. Today will a challenge as I am working away from home and will not be able to get back here. I am planning to leave out some frozen food for him to snack on.

Was unable to be home today so I don't know what was going on. Started ok - AMPS 266, +8 362, PMPS 417. Did give Harley some cooked chicken about 4:10 but did not check bg (regret!). So, don't know if the +8 was bg going up after a low or if it was a real number.

I did shoot the 6.25 but now I am worried about ketones. I was unable to test this am (he does not pee on command - need to teach him that), and nothing so far. Those ketones are what I am most afraid of.

Any suggestions?

Pattie

This may be a bounce. Given the blues (I'm discounting the greens since a meter error is possible), you may be dealing with the end of a bounce. It can take up to 72 hours for the counterregulatory hormones to clear. Obviously, get a ketone test when you can. And if you figure out how to get Harley to pee on demand, please let the rest of us know how you did it.

Soupy FF is a good idea, try to get extra water in him just in case.

(( Pattie )), I'm sure he'll be fine, but it's nerve-wracking waiting and worrying.

No peeing - but he did drink everything down. Just took a +3 and it is down to 356. I honestly don't understand the numbers he gives me, but at least it is going down.
