Morning LL! Breffis has been eaten and the grooming has begun. I got up for an extra BG check last night after seeing the nice blue +4. I was rewarded with a nice green for the SS. Maybe the Full Moon has released the boy. I hope so. Hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday! See you all later! :-D

Great to see that green. Ah, yes, Mr. Full Moon - RELEASE your captives now!

I hope to see even more relief for Shadow, he's showing you that he may already be on his way to better numbers. Whew!

Well, THIS day took a turn for the worst.
I am thinking that an increase tonight is in order but he had a +7=98 last night.
any ideas folks?
I made an appointment at the vet;s for Monday for him ....will get blood work done and possibly another dental. He is in the closet today since we had a thunderstorm earlier. He is not a happy guy when the thunder is present. Wondering if something is brewing with him.

He and Raja both didn't eat all that much for dinner. I don't know what is going on with him....he seems totally fine.
 
Hi Pat, Could he have gotten into some contraband food? How strange to shoot up like that for no apparent reason. It could be the storms, or the hot weather, or the waning of the full moon. Whatever. It could be your meter or strips! Or maybe you need to start a new cartridge. Anyway, it's good that you took precautions and are going to the vet on Monday. Come on, Shad-0! Show your mamabean some good numbers!

Oh no. What is this? I'm sorry that you have to deal with these very weird numbers. Green to red, it just doesn't seem right. 90's don't usually cause Shadow to bounce like THIS!

I hope the vet can discover something and maybe just a little medicine or something can get him back on track.

Wow Pat - what is up with that? I'm with Ella - kitty contraband, of storms, or.... ? Never hurts to go to the vet to be sure. Sorry for the 495 - that really belongs on Mannie's SS - certainly not Shadow's. Hope all is well, and he finds the lower floors soon.
 
Oh Shadow, good thing you are going to see the vettie bean soon. Red is not good, it worries your mombean so much. Is it the thunder? do you need some earplugs? I'll bring soup w/ Mannie an' Stu. Chicken anything is always good. --Tess

I'm sorry you had a scary day. I had a scary night last night at the vet's overnight ALL BY MYSELF, so I know how it feels to be afraid. (((Shadow))) Stu said he'd bring me some chicken soup so he can just stop by your place with some, too. It's ok to go to the vet, just don't let your bean leave you there. My bean said that I'm a little sick and the vet is going to make me feel better with medicine. Maybe that will happen for you, too, and then you can have pretty numbers ALL THE TIME. Wouldn't that be awesome for us?!
