WCR: mocha is in a good mood this morning. Not surprising with this number. Just another day or two and she gets a new pen. I think I'm more excited then anyone else in the house about that ...
Sorry for not updating yesterday once we got home. I had a friend stop over and we ordered a pizza and just hung out which was nice. Twix went to the vet and did the normal pee and poop and the foaming of the mouth and I did a lot of gagging and peter did a lot of cleaning and then the vet came in and said yup shes got rodent ulcers so she will get the depo medrol shot and then she flushed out her eye with a green dye, the same dye she used on mocha back in may, and said that she did not scratch her eye but must just be irritated and gave us drops to give her twice a day called Neomycin and Polymyxin B Sulfates and Dexamenthasone Ophthalmic Suspension. By the time we got home from the vet twix had her eyes wide open and it pretty much stayed that way all night. We didn't give her any drops because we wanted to see how it was this morning and it does look about 99% better, no squinting and it's not watery. So we are holding off on the drops again. I would like to do the drops to make sure it won't get infected but it's SUCH an ordeal trying to catch twix and actually hold her long enough for us to get them in her eye.
Thanks for asking though and have a great day!
