7/21 Meadow AMPS 369 PMPS 342

Dosecrease this a.m. Meadow is acting fine still...purring a lot. Still haven't gotten a return phone call or email from Dr. Lunn yet. I'm starting to lose confidence in her as a vet. Her assistants even said they were surprised she hadn't called me back last week.

Arg! I wish I could even FIND a vet who in whom I had a little confidence. :YMSIGH: I hear you loud and clear.
I called my vet about possible pain meds for Purrcie's arthritis on Monday. Finally today had one of her techs get back to me and suggested I give him a new diet that has joint stuff in it. I said, we can't do that, he's diabetic. Oh, well give him cosequin. I said, no he can't have that either because he is a kidney cat. Cosequin has been shown to increase blood pressure, so they pretty much just blew me off.

It's so frustrating Amber. I hope you get some resolution.

sorry you're not getting answers, Amber. :sad: Everybody here who has worked with Dr. Lunn loves her, so I wonder if there is a reason. I have no idea, you would think she would at least have someone call or email to tell you it will be a little while.

I wonder if vet schools are on the same academic calendar as med schools? July 1 is the beginning of the academic year. I know I'm completely snowed under right now so it's possible that it's the beginning of the year craziness that is causing her to run behind.
