Jill suggested a dosecrease, and I did that on Sunday's PM cycle. Buzz had quite a cycle last night, during which she dropped 202 points in 1.5 hours. She was bouncing by +5, so I'm hopeful that it will clear out tonight. I'll stay more on top of testing in the earlier part of tonight's cycle to see if I can maybe catch the drop sooner.

WCR: Buzz seems to be doing great lately (antijinx). She always seems happy and content, and (as always) has a super appetite. Can't ask for too much more, although less humidity would be nice, if we're putting in requests.

It sounds like a good plan to try to test earlier. I've been doing the same with Gabby. It's a good think she likes the food that goes with the test!

Just wanted to say Hi and that we missed you and Buzz. I hope she clears this bounce soon. We don't have your humidity, but it has been very hot here lately - over 100 for 5 days at least, but it's supposed to drop into the 90's tomorrow. Hope you enjoyed the weather report.

Tess, Mannie, and Moonie-
I'm TOTALLY there tomorrow! I can't wait to see you guys. :-D Moonie, it IS nice to have another girl kitty. You, Tess, and me have to stick together. See you tomorrow, everyone!
<3, Buzz

Yeah, Buzz now acts offended when I don't give her a meal after a test, and the others have learned that testing usually means food for them, too (they all eat meals at the same time). Like you said, good thing! Although I don't think I have to worry about Buzz tonight, based on her +1...

Wow, that really IS hot! I hope you guys get some relief soon. Humidity really does make a difference, but hot is hot, no matter what. ;) I have a friend who lives in Vegas and she said that her the soles of her shoes started to MELT while she was pumping gas!! It was 114, though. This national weather report brought to you by the letter H and the number 9.

Re: 7/20 Buzz PMPS: 290, +1: 367

getting those +1s and +2s are important. you should see a food spike at +1 (like tonight). if the +2 is less than the ps number, it's time to feed & monitor if there's a big drop. if the +2 is similar to the ps number, monitor and be prepared to intervene before a big drop.
i think there's a good chance buzz saw green yesterday, too.

is buzz still being fed at ps and +1? if so, you might want to spread that out into 3 - 4 mini-meals fed before +6.

I can definitely tell a lot by the +1 number, because oftentimes she doesn't show a food spike then, and I know it's going to be a good cycle (i.e. at least once-hourly checks). This weekend was difficult to get in the +1s, and I think by Monday I was out of the habit, but I will do better!

Yes, her PS meal is split into two parts now, PS and +1. Before this change, the PS meal was split into 3 parts (PS, +1 and +2). She also gets fed at +6 during the day anywhere from +4-+6 at night, depending on how the cycle is going. I made the switch on 7/9, as suggested by Libby when she mentioned that you and she had talked about Buzz's propensity to bounce. In light of her #s since the change, do you feel it has been beneficial? I have felt that it has been, the large drop last night notwithstanding. Thank you for your input!
