7/1 Gabby AMPS~248, PMPS~300, +2~268, +4~277

Yesterday's Condo

I went to sleep and woke up with a snuggly, purring kitty. Gabby's appetite was great this morning. She did her best to polish the breakfast bowls. I do think her appetite has decreased overall, which is a good thing. I'm hoping I'm not deluding myself but she does seem like she's back to herself. I'm hoping whatever this GI thing was, if it was GI, is gone. She's got a few more days on the metronidazole.

It's another beautiful day here with ideal temperatures and lots of sunshine. Gizmo loves having the windows open. He is very attentive to bugs that fly past the balcony screen door. He thinks he's a mighty hunter!

I'm so glad that gabby is feeling better and that her appy is back ... our girls love it when the windows are open .. it's so funny cause when they see birds at the feeder, the start chattering their teeth really fast .. but when they see hummingbirds, they crouch down really low and start backing up from the window, almost as if they are scared to death of these "little" birds :lol:

Sure glad Gabby is feeling much better. Bug patrol is one of the favorite pastimes at our house too! You just gotta love this guys!

There are times when Gabby just makes me smile. She was being fussy about dinner. She ate some and then didn't want to be bothered. I'm back in my bedroom and I hear this very strange noise. I thought one of the kitties was pushing a bowl around. I went back into the kitchen to see what was going on and to put my dinner in the oven and found a clean bowl. (Don't know if Gabby finished her dinner or Gizmo did.) The noise had stopped. When I walked back toward the bedroom, the noise began again. It was Gabby. She'd found something to bat around and was playing. The noise was her swatting at whatever it was since she had pushed it under the open flap of her favorite box. She was very intent and very kitten-like. And Gizmo sat there watching. I was charmed.

Lovely story! Gabby must certainly be feeling better. Hope you and your kitties have a good night (Gabby is enjoying the birthday party for Tori and probably won't be home until late; Gizmo probably wishes he was old enough to go to "grown-up" kitty parties).

Glad to hear that Gabby is on the mend - hopefully her sugars will continue to improve now that she is feeling better. Gotta love bugs and sunshine!
