Great AMPS - moving on to yellows for AMPS is a good sign!

If you can I would check him around +2, with snacks available.

You'll know thru this cycle if it was a definite fur shot.

You did great last nite by the way.

Sorry forgot to put Treys name on line Had a male moment and guess my mind was still off in dream land + 2 coming up I was going for +3 but that is no problem .I had a very good night sleep still want more and I am saying no no no had enough sleep . Got to get moving one more cup of tea will do it MMMMaybe some sugar :lol: :mrgreen: ~O) ;-) I hope you had a good night too. How is Luna this morning? Lol Kath

Luna right now is playing after having his breakfast snacks. Doing very well.

You and Luna have a great day I am sure we will be fine talk to my Angels they are helping with Trey. My big trouble today is our Dog Becky looks like we have to make that call for her to go to Rainbow Bridge and it breaks my heart but ending her suffering is what this is about .Will be checking Trey in a few minutes chat later ..... Just did Treys test and it was not a furshot Yeah!!! he is 122 +2 but seems to be coming down fast Is he we will be watching +3 see what is going on LOL Kath :mrgreen: :lol: :YMSIGH:

You want to control the drop -- feed a little LC snack here. By feeding you can smooth the curve.

ok He had a snack right after his test should we test at +3 right and by snack how much do you meat he has about 1 tbsp tuna then a tsp of FF enough or should he get a bit more LOL Kath

Trey disided to go blue Yeah!!!142+3 up a bit so mom would ~O) She kind of panic when DH is around now he is watching numbers and wants to feed cause he looks low :lol: We want low DH . Any way test at +5 ok or before that ????? :razz: :mrgreen:

I'm so glad to see that Trey didn't get a fur shot as you originally planned...and he gave you some blues!

I'm also sorry to hear about Becky :sad: It is very hard to make those decisions and sometimes doesn't seem far to have to. But it is the ultimate gift of love you will be giving to Becky...one where she will no longer be in pain, or old, or sick...she will be whole once again, happy and healthy. Enjoy your time with her today. Take some pictures, give lots of love, hugs, pets, and kisses. Your heart will still break, but there will be a calmness about it. (((Kath & Becky)))

Ate at +3 wll be testing +5 which is 15 minutes then snacks again :mrgreen: :lol: I think Mr T is gaining weight :cool:

Trey is now 203+5 just moving into the yellow a little early but should be ok now Did get a little snack cause he is such a good boy Maybe take the pm off and watch a movie or go shopping let him be till Preshot what do you think???? :mrgreen: :-D

Well look at Trey staying in the yellow at +12 he is 284BG Going to move him up a bit earlier so we gave him his insulin 15 minutes earlier. If we could get him back to 7 for his shot Then I would only have to stay up to 1:am for his +6 to hit. That would be a piece of cake ....so we will do 15 minutes each +12 and by the end of a few days we will be ok Does this sound ok cause we don`t want to "rock the boat as the saying goes"......We will test him at +3 I guess tonight ok LOL Kath :cool: :roll: :mrgreen:
 
Well Trey is not showing any signs of dropping too low so maybe another night of sleep. He is 288 at +3 don`t know what happen to all the green but blue would be good . Tomorrow he goes for urin test where they take it from the bladder with another needle.. Why is it always the needle oh well have to do these things... So he maybe a bit stressed tomorrow ...LOL Kath :mrgreen: :-| :YMSIGH:
 
Do you think Trey has a urinary track infection? That's the only reason I know of that the vet would be doing a cytocentesis (using a needle to get a sterile urine sample directly from the bladder).
 
No she wants to make sure he is ok to get his teeth done and checking for keytones I guess I thought it was strange but she said this was the best way of checking LOL Kath
 
Just realized Trey is +3 is higher then his preshot MMMM wondering why did not have anything to eat in 3 hours.I am tempted to stick around for 2 more hours but don`t think I could do it .....Good night will leave food out and see what tomorrow brings.. Vet appointment and rain !!!!! :-Q :YMHUG: :mrgreen:

sorry I'm so late, I fell asleep on the couch :lol:

looks like Trey had another nice day -
not eating much? maybe he filled himself up at dinner?

leaving food will be good, he will find it, have a good nite, lots of luck tomorrow at vets.

To get an idea of how his BG is while at the vets,... if you can, try to get a test right before you leave the house.
I'm sure the vet will test him while he's there, but would be interesting to see if vet visit bugs him too much, some kitties really stress (here, here lol) and spike up at vets.

But anyway, good luck, hope the AMPS is nice and smooth for you.
