I posted this on Health yesterday: viewtopic.php?f=28&t=16401
Dr Doug got the results of the aspirate today and called me while I was sleeping after working nights last night. I was so out of it it took me a few seconds to figure out who I was talking too and I didn't ask all the questions I probably would have if I was with it. Anyway it turns out that the lumps are engorged lymph nodes. They didn't see any abnormal cells at all. No cancerous cells. Doug said the plan for now would be to just watch them and if they get bigger or change in any way then we would have to biopsy them. In my half asleep state all I heard was no cancerous cells but since I woke I have been thinking non stop. Questions like how long do we wait for them to go down or grow before we do the biopsy? What would treatment options be if they get bigger? All sorts of questions. I still feel very nervous about this.
I increased Tori's insulin dose up to 1.5 on the 30th and she actually started to have some pretty good numbers getting down to the greens but the last three days she has been back up to the pinks and yellows most of the time. I am seriously thinking of raising her again a bit. I just changed the cartridge yesterday so I'll see what tomorrow brings. Sorry my spreadsheet isn't up to date but I'll get it updated by tomorrow.
WCR= She looks great and is acting perfectly normally. She's eating well and all the rest of the P's are accounted for.
I just don't get what is happening with her and I really am very concerned. If you have any insight into this please speak up. I plan to phone the vet on Monday so I want to get all my questions ready ahead of time.
Hope everybody is doing well. I'm off to work now so will check up on everybody tomorrow.
