Morning, LL.

Eeyore once again got a decrease. He was 57 at one point early in the cycle, so I aborted the drop with some Innova (higher carbs than he's used to). Shot 1.25 this morning; let's see what happens...

Esse is just fine and dandy. She's spending a whole lot of time in blues and greens over the last few days, so I'm not touching her dose. There is a chance she went below 50 the other day, but with her, if I don't see it, I won't decrease.

Both have been in great moods...playing, lovin', snuggling, and just being wonderful sugarbabies. This morning, I woke with Oliver laying curled on the pillow next to me, and as I sleepily stroked him from his head to his tail, my hand encountered another kitty's head laying on Ollie's flank...cracked an eye, and to my surprise, it was Eeyore. I've never caught them snuggling before, so this was utterly wonderful and perfect and a great way to wake up...and of course, Simon was beside me on the other side, and Mal, Esse, and Emily were tucked around the foot of the bed.

Nothing better on a cool, cloudy morning than to wake to a herd of kitties...

As for me, I've been spending a lot of time at the barn - it's good for my soul. Still not doing well, but doing my best to get on with it, if you know what I mean.

Just wanted to note that Eeyore is so much healthier than when he got here, that I'm going to get him revetted on Saturday afternoon. Blood work, mostly, and just a general check over. Nothing wrong with the Big Grey Ball of Fuzzlove...just to see what changes a diet, good treatment, and lots of lovin' (and no locking in closets eating dogfood) has done.

I'm very thrilled with Eeyore's numbers today. He started at 475, and if he'd done his usual, he'd've dropped blue/green, then bounced up. Instead, he came into the mid 3s, and has stayed there - stayed there!! - most of the day. No bounce, no over reaction, no superhigh numbers. I'm really hoping this is working for him...

As for Esse, she's happy in the low blues...will check for a few times tonight, so if she drops, she will be seen...and we can take it from there. But they're very happy kitties at the moment, and that makes ME a happier person...my babies are feeling good...
