After a stellar day for Mannie yesterday we are bouncing, aka bungees coupled with a little trampoline... eeuuuuwwwww, and a really ugly 438. I had hoped the bounce that I knew was coming wouldn't be as ugly as it is. Perhaps in true Mannie fashion he will clear quickly. I just hope he doesn't decide to go cliff diving. Despite his 47 last night I did not give him a dose reduction, just don't feel his BG's of late support that. So... still at 2.75u.

WCR: Heavy sighs this morning when he poked his nose outdoors and saw that it was raining, once again. No matter - there was breffis to be had - inhaled, and catnip toys to be rolled in - slobbered on alot too, and napping to do - after making sure the civvies were where they should be. And they are so: I-)

have a good holiday everyone. I am off to fill the coffee cup. Hike canceled for today - too much rain, just did not want to drive 3 hours to spend it soaking wet. :shock:

wow, and dropping already... gave a small amt of food, just to cushion the drop. 302 @ +2

Shesshhhh - forgot to mention: on amps: partial furshot - oopss!!! - did get most of it in, but some lantus residue on the skin. oh darn it anyways... and we still have a 100, almost, point drop?

Wow, my mama bean hates those damn fur shots too! Or that last tiny drop that didn't get pinched out :sad:
Bummer about the rain :roll: figures...always on the holidays.

It's great here today, a little fog, but lots of birdies to watch for me on birdie tv :thumbup I may even jump on the railing and freak my bean out :lol:
Well, gotta run the kitty commercial is over and my favorite soap is on "One Dove at a Time" soooo great!

That's a low pink and what a drop!! Whoa there Mannie,...where you going in such a rush? Hope you have a nice holiday at home...sorry about the weather...but maybe you can find something to occupy your time today? uh..like, uh...dogn BG tests on your boy! :lol:

Kelly - the timing was nice, huh. As sleepy as sleepy can be - better at night, even better on a holiday weekend.

Hi Pat - I think Mannie is always in a rush... what is up with that. given on the rain - sounds like a good excuse for a lazy day. Mannie's back to the I-) I-)

Sienne - i'm not too sure he knows what that means, despite repeated discussions on keeping it all in line. oh sure he says, and down we go. PMPS ought to be interesting.

Lisa - Hi and good morning! slow would be good. i hope... though the +2 was nice, +4 even better, but wish he'd slow it down some. back to the food as a brake thing.

Hi Heidi - true on the missing that last drop fur shot. :lol: haven't done that in close to 2 years. :lol: :lol: Mannie says hi to Doodles, and hopes the birdie tv is good today. his is off the air - wiped out by rain. not even any re-runs.

YAY! - a 188 @ +6... but my goodness: a 300 point drop in 6 hours. cliff diving 101 (we need one of those smiley things for that :? ). nice to be back in the blues however. I can hardly wait to see what the afternoon brings... this is almost a repeat of yesterday. :shock:

Mannie and Tess are keeping pace with each other. Maybe they can slow each other down. .......... ohmygod_smile Nah, what was I thinking, it's lately. UPPPPPP or DOOOOOOWNNN with them.

sure was a great night last night, paying the price today. I just don't know what else to say. He still got his hugs, his kisses, and pets with chin scratches. guess we keep on pluggin' away at this.

I kinda know what you mean. If Gabby wasn't incredibly playful last night when she was in high numbers I would have been completely disheartened. You know he'll come back down.

well yeah. i know he'll come back down. Days like today just wear on the mind and the heart. The good thing about it all is that one would never know he was that high by looking at him. He's never been one to be really playful, even as a kitten, but he has his routine, it just doesn't falter.

rubber kitty - :lol: i do like that. one of the reasons why i love this board and all that post here: there is always someone who puts it all in perspective, makes me laugh in spite myself. At this moment i thank you both.

429 @ +2. already down 200 points. shesshhhh, and another cliff dive. :roll:

At least he's coming down already, 200 points at +2, you might want to feed that even though it's high. What a day!

And yes I am feeding - anything to slow it down - even when it is so awful. Otherwise we will have rubber kitty all over again. The boy does love to bounce.

what a ride. last night we hit 47 early in the cycle - that kept me busy, and today he is off the charts, over the 600 mark. just unreal. what a past couple of 24 hours this has been. not one that i care to repeat anytime soon. so here we are trying to control the descend... omg.

Stu - dude! I know - i just thought one little weeeeeeeeeeeeee and maybe that would be fun. NOT! It was really kinda scary - I really flew high today, dove kinda low last night. And the bungee just wouldn't stop. Dude - don't even go there, 'K? i hope you had a good day with you dad bean, while you mama bean was out gettin' all wet and stuff ~~ Mannie

+4 317. better, still gave a little food at +4 - all in an effort to slow the clear, and hopefully control another bounce, maybe even flatten things out a bit.
