He seems to be having trouble getting this under control. ohmygod_smile It is a low pink...so there is some hope. He is playing with catnip now and the breffis was polished off. He seems happy. I am not. Just happy that he seems fine but feeling a little helpless, ya know?
This IS very difficult to deal with, isn't it? :lol: I mean, you DO all you can and then you just sit around keeping a log and waiting for something good to happen. I don't think I have ever experienced anything quite like this in my life......

Yay! Something to look forward to....let's hope that everyone can attend! Maybe Shadow will come back from RBC and help with the planning...

Hi Pat.
Hoping Shadow shows you some lower numbers today and by party time. Maggie will be there and should be out of the woods with her UTI. Hang in there!

Crazy! Yes it is frustrating and it seems insane the way we tear our hair out then run around the following day singing praises and throwing a party because of some green numbers. Sometimes it's like playing the lottery. I used to try and guess the number before the meter beeped. Other times I was like a gambler at the Roulette wheel holding my breath, clenched fist screaming " come on......green 80-something!" then BEEP...."Red 456" S%$%&!

Yesterday I decided to test him (since 6 weeks) :roll: What a battle.....he wouldn't hold still (it was dinner time) Flicked the blood drop all over and ran off so I wasted a strip (haven't seen ERR on the meter in a year) second round I got it (a nice 67) but he bit me and got away before i could pinch the bleeding ear. He forgave me though when I served dinner after that :cool:

I like the part Pat about us keeping a log and waiting for something to happen wow is this not true hoping Shadow's numbers improve soon for you cat_pet_icon the sugar dance is so frustrating for us Beans

As ever the mystery boy. My Magic Eight ball says Shadow is heading down.... he's almost to yellow. I wish for your sake, Pat, that he becomes boringly consistent with his numbers someday soon.

I know exactly what you are saying Pat .. some days are better then others, so we will cross our fingers that shadow comes down today and has a better day tomorrow! Like you said, this isn't a high pink .... so there is hope!

I hear you on the frustration and the nailbiting. But then, when things stay the same for a few days we get impatient at lack of momentum! :lol:

Well, that is a nice drop there, Pat. Hang in there...there are good days and bad days and there is nothing we can do about it.

I'm going through my own little drama with Mr. Spot lately...I think he may have to go hang out at the respite condo's down the street for soon, at least for a few days...sigh, but hey, whatever makes him feel better.

I hope that Shadow comes down more for you~

That was a big drop wasn't it. I think Shadow heard Full Moon Party and that's all it took. He doesn't want to miss a party. :-D

It's been a while since Doodle's been to a full moon party... sounds fun!

I'll try to remember to get on and come to the full moon party this time ;-) I usually don't make it back on at night, but sometimes I do.

What a drop! He and Logan obviously chatted today! Glad he came out of the pinks for you, Pat. He heard the word Party and immediately gave you what you wanted. :mrgreen:

Pat- It can be frustrating, that's for sure. I totally know what you mean about waiting for something good to happen. And Monique, I play guessing games with the meter too. It is sort of like roulette, now that you mention it. ;-)

Shad-O: Can't wait for the full moon party! Are you on your way to Stu's yet for his mouse stew at his camp? I'm gonna swing by Moonie's and get her. I think Blackie will meet us there; he's had a pretty exciting day and he might be tired. See you soon!

Guess I can't complain now, right? He really got to working that Mr. Liver back in his red corner. Hope he stays there for awhile. Bouncing must get tiring eventually...I'm sorry I was such a whiner this morning. But I realized that this is consuming me. It's really, without a doubt, THE thing I think about all day AND all night! And Shadow does his best to keep me on my toes! :mrgreen:

Thought THIS would be the ONE night that I could go out dancing....you know, put on my favorite
Tiffany jewels and my chiffon ball gown and go out on the Town. But NOooooo! Once again, I will opt for staying home. :lol:
