Yesterday's Condo

One should be careful what one wishes for --- after a steady pink surf yesterday Mannie is surfin' the greens today. YAY!!, and :mrgreen: - rather dramatically I might add. AMPS at 308, with a 200 point drop at +2. I do so hope he stays on this green surf today - it is so nice to see!

WCR: A little bit of a slow start for Mannie today - weather issues (rain!!) I am sure, but he did make his rounds outdoors, still tracked the yard into the house. :? Interesting that at +2 he is in his test spot, prancing back and forth, meowing rather loudly, with that "well test me now!" look on his face. Guess he wanted me to know that he was blue, and down 200 points. Way to go Mannie!! cat_pet_icon

Are you giving Mannie snacks between meals and if so, when? I'm wondering whether front loading the cycle with food will help to slow down those 200 point drops 'cause you know Mannie is going to bounce.

Snacks, yes. main meals are at amps, and pmps, after shoot time. He receives smaller meals/snacks (1tsp) at +4, +8, usually via an auto feeder, amps and pmps. snacks are also given when I can see that we are beginning one of these cliff dives. This morning when I had the 200 point drop, he received a snack/food. also at each test if the drop was continuing with a large point drop: for this morning another was given at the 3.5 test, and again at +5, +6. snacks here are usually small amt of food, or cooked chicken, or halo treats.

Am I doing this right? Or should I be doing something different? Because yes - I know he will bounce - no doubt.

And Hi Ann and Tess - and Iowren and Tray! Kowabunga says it well... and to think that yesterday I was whining about all those pinks...

84 @ +8. i do so hope that this surf continues to last the afternoon... and that bouncing is minimal - could he be so lucky?

Oooh I remember these days well. I was advised to do an every three hour feed of about a tsp of food (with big meals am and pm) and that seemed to work for my boy. He still eats like this. Thinking Mr. Pancreas likes it.

Keep up that awesome surf and hoping no giant bounce tomorrow. :) - L

Hey Stu - what's shakin'? I think my bean hid those bungees - can't find them anywhere - tis ok though. That cliff diving thing this morning did me in.... But the extra snack part was kinda cool - chicken and tuna: YES!!!!!....

pmps +2 @213 -- going up some, hopefully not too much, with no trampolines or bungees or cliff diving... Comon' Mannie - you can do it!
