The long honeymoon is over. ER vet nearly killed her this weekend with 2.5u Vetsulin - hypo'd last night at 29.

It's been a long time since she's been on insulin, and I'm nervous. I recall starting low and going slow -- will be here often.

Welcome back. Sorry about the ER experience. We're here for you.
What kind of numbers have you been getting? Are you hooked up with a spreadsheet?
Anything else going on with her? Maybe this is a short visit and you will be OTJ again soon.

Sorry you had to come back. Brutus and I are back after 2 yrs but we are trying for otj again. It does not take long to get back in the swing of things.

The starting dose calculation is 0.25u x kg ideal weight. If Janie's ideal weight is 6 lbs, her starting dose is 0.68u. If you had such low numbers yesterday, you might want to start at 0.75.

welcome to Lantus Land! Sorry you had to come back, but you're in the right place.

What did you decide to shoot tonight?

Janie is a very pretty girl, Kris! I bet she is very spoiled too!! I'm sorry to see that the honeymoon is over, but I am hopeful that this will be very short lived. So, welcome back..you know you are in good hands!

I shot 1u an hour ago - think i should test at one- or two-hour intervals?

And how do I get her spreadsheet into my signature? i followed the instruction but must be having a brain toot.

Hi Kris-

I love her crown. As you know, you are absolutely in the right place. You will get more help and empathy here than anywhere else on earth! See ya around.

Hi Kris and Janie, Welcome back, Janie! You are a very beautiful lady. We hope that you will soon be able to move back to the Falls, but in the meantime, welcome!
