Yesterday's Condo

I shot full dose 1.25 hours later than usual last night when he finally got up to 112. So now I am making my way back to the original time of shooting. Raja & Shadow both needed extra Pure Bites sprinkled on top of their Evo Duck 95% mix with homemade Feline's Pride turkey. They both finished the food then....so that's ok. He earned his first <50 during the day yesterday so we are on our way to the next before a dosecrease.
He is pretty sick of me, that's for sure.
Today I will go back to Park Feed to pick up the Evo chicken. Hope it comes in today. The place is like a little old barn with so much good stuff...for horses, dogs, birds and all sorts of animals. Has anyone ever tried the Evo snacks?

Looking great, Shadow! Never tried the EVO snacks - haven't seen them. It's so hard to find this stuff! Only one store in Charlotte (that I've found) carries the EVO 95% flavors - and they don't carry the venison, just the chicken/turkey, beef and duck flavors. Logan liked the duck last night for his snack but wouldn't touch it this morning.

Good Morning to your kitties and you, and I hope Shadow has a good day. Let me know how they like the Evo chicken. Which pet store did you find the Evo? This morning Maggie liked the chopped grill sophisticat after picking all day yesterday at everything I placed in front of her. If she likes the next can of CG, I will stick to that one flavor.

Never tried the snacks. Tried the EVO 95% and Spot loved it...just a little bit to expensive for me to buy all the time. The By Nature Organics is starting to rack up the $$$ too, lol, but it's a little less expensive and in a bigger can than th EVO. I can only get the EVO at a little pet store and the By Nature at Petsmart, both are about a 10 minute drive for me.

We've tried the EVO snacks. It's the only cat food product I've seen w/ carbs listed in the Guaranteed Analysis, max 9%. I think the snacks are pretty much the same as the dry food. Tess thinks they are OK, but freeze dried is much better, especially WildSide Salmon. Yummmmm!

I bought a bag of the EVO snacks (Wild Cravings) but were told in Health they were too high carb, is that the snacks you are speaking of? These kitties & their dust sprinkled on top :lol: Makes me want to sprinkle dust all over me lol

Pedro LOVED the EVO dry food (back when I was just tring to convert him to canned and get him off his HC lite food) I use one or two pieces of it still if I want to give him a "special" treat. I can tell you that when he won't eat anything else he will still go for the EVO dry. Wouldn't touch the canned though - go figure.

Nice numbers yesterday! Sorry, I haven't tried any of the EVO...too expensive for our budget. Thankfully my boys seem happy with Friskies, but I hope to start trying out some raw soon as I think if I make it from scratch that it'll be less expensive. All my boys (even the drooler) like the Prime Bites freeze-dried at Petsmart. Drooler likes the beef liver and the chicken, the kitties just like the chicken (the liver chunks are too big and I can't break them very easily).

Howdy Pat, Shadow, and Raja! Hope you guys are having a good day. Shadow's numbers are looking better. Spooky says to tell them thanks for sending us the nice weather, he has been going everyday for walks on the leash.

I saw the pics you put up of the skin spots, bla looks nasty I have no idea what it could be from. Hope it heals soon. Happy friday!

Hi Pat, no I have not tried the Evo. I will be anxious to see how Shadow and Raja like it! I just went to PetsMart and bought all Chopped Grill Sophisticat, so keep your fingers crossed the taste stays with her. I also bought the 5 Compartment Pet Safe Feeder. It's still in my car trunk. I'll fiddle with it over the weekend. There is a 30 day return on it.

Went to pick up some cans of Evo 95% Chicken/Turkey. Will try it for din-din tonight. I also picked up a few more bags of Pure Bites too since they are going crazy for them. Not as hard as the Petsmart one...i keep mixing up the names....Prime Bites..those are great for shaving but sometimes they are too hard.
I am going to have a problem with Raja cause we are shooting an hour late tonight for Shadow....so...I will have to have a talk with her about the dinner delay

I have had a busy day....donated blood outside Walmart at the Blood Mobile and received a $10 gift card. i will go back and buy more test strips with blood money again! :lol: Went to a butcher and almost bought a duck for the cats and then I decided against it. I am trying to find rabbit locally so I won't waste money by ordering a large amount. I don't know if they will even look at it. The larger the order, the better it will stay cold/frozen. I got an email from By Nature giving me the values on the can so I emailed him back and he sent the as fed as I had asked originally.
I tried pasting the chart but it didn't work...if anyone wants the information, can you send me a PM with your email address and I will forward it to you. I was happy that he got right back to me anyway!

Evo 95% chicken went over well. First time means nothing, right? Both walked away leaving some food in their dishes. When I put more Pure bites over it, they both came back to finish the whole portion. So silly. :lol:

Hi Pat, Stu's favorite EVO is the 95% Chicken & Turkey. He also loves the By Nature 95% Turkey & Turkey Liver. He absolutely loves the EVO dry, but I limit him to 5 or 6 kibbles a day now. I've never seen the "treats". I'll PM you my e mail address to get the scoop on the By Nature carb percentages.

Stu is whooping it up at Kitty's party, and I assume that Shad-0 and Raja are, too. Those kitties sure do know how to party! See you tomorrow. Have a great evening.
