4/29 Tuscany AMPS~260-furshot, PMPS~355

BAD BEAN. I gave my first for real fur shot- I was looking on some of the links in Mocha's condo yesterday regarding shooting sites/needle angles etc. I tried moving my site and changing my needle angle. Goes to show you don't mess with what is working. I had a furshot - clean out the other side - no mistake about it. GERRR. Guess it will be a day of emptying shed. I am glad I chose a food today that was very lc. Hope the pinkus sinkus doesn't come visit.

You are HUMAN!! We all do it and a wonderful bean like you shouldnt beat yourself up about it!!
You maybe surprised & some may have gotten in!--Ok Tuscany will be just fine--So her shed may empty a little--You have had some really wonderful days, so I'm sure she'll go right back there--HUGS~!

Hi Joyce, Yup, fur shots are bummers. But they happen. And as you have discovered: "if it ain't broke, don't fix it!!" Tuscany will be fine, and now she'll have nice fresh insulin in her storage shed. So relax and have a fine day.

oh bummer ... but what can you do other then stomp your foot, throw a tantrum, run around screaming with your hands above your head .. oh wait ... that's just what I do :lol: oh well, fur shots happen, it isn't the worst thing in the world!

I've done the same thing for the same reason. It's frustrating. Tuscany will be back on track this evening -- her shed won't be entirely depleted.

Well I am thinking since I need to move up shot time by an hour for a week from now that depending on her +11 tonight and cause I had an absolute fur shot this am that I might just move up the hour in one move tonight.

It's always good to have a little something something in the shed for those days....
I stuck to the scruff-ish. Lantus needed to slow and I like constancy (is that a word)!
HAppy belated birthday Tuscany, I'm sorry that I missed your birthday yesterday.

I had no doubt this am that I gave a furshot - kind of a hard one to miss when you see the stream of insulin, feel it and smell it. I am sad to see this pmps number - which is actually her +11 - I went ahead and shot early (interesting that I was reading in other condo last pm about chasing the pinks early....)

It is also sad to realize how much these cats are REALLY dependant on the insuling. Tuscany had no treats, a very low FF for the day which she didn't finish all of it and ends up in the STINKUS PINKUS cause of her bean error. Hope it doesn't take too long to build that shed up.
