4/23 Lanky AMPS 339; PMPS 489

Morning - I think we broke thru a barrier last evening, Yahooooooo ooooooo! Maybe I should take Lanky to the vet more often. I woke up the AM with someone sleeping on my chest. I immediately started scratching and petting Lanky, especially his tail. We must of stayed like that for 20 minutes or more. I dosed off again & when the alarm finally went off, he was gone. As I walked into the kitchen, politely sitting by their feeding spots were 4 kitties ready to go! This morning's menu consisted of Wellness beef & chicken formula w/ a chaser of Fancy Feast tender beef & liver feast. It was passable but not a favorite I would say.

Seems like Saturday to me. Major housework to do & maybe a little gardening.

Looking to see how Loanky does at PM#
Did not love that red 407 this afternoon. I hope he brought
himself down from there.

OK - might this be our 1st rebound? Other ideas for what is going on??

The vet sent me home with some Purina canned (5.5 oz) DM food & according to Binky:

Calories from Protein 46%
Calories form Fat 47%
Calories from Carb 7%
Phosphorus mg 259
Calories/can 194

So, Lanky would noteat dinner with the others: Friskies Special Diet beef & chicken entree (4% carb) w/ Fancy Feast tender beef & liver feast (2% carb). This is a first. But he is still feeling off from a vomit episode around +11. Then, I tried DM mixed with a little warm water and he ate fairly well. Then, he got is 4th cycle of a 4.5 unit dose of Lantus.

could be a touch of rebound, or else sometimes vomit raises numbers too. Come on down, Lanky!
