Happy Sunday LL!

Holy cow...it feels like a normal day in our household. Thank goodness!

WCR: Six doesn't seem to be a carb sensitive cat and can handle the slightly higher carbs in granny's pot pie. I'm going to call the store to order a case of that as well. Haven't tried it on the civie's but we have a limited supply (bought out the store) and it's the only store that sells it - that I have found - in the area. Paws crossed we have enough until the cowboy cookout cases come in. Six's AMPS were thrilling. I got up around 2ish to feed him his snack so we didn't have another "eating an hour before pre shot time" incident. He was good and hungry. Shot hurt him this morning.

a few things from yesterday's post...

If Hugo is still hissing at Lyle, put a sock over your hand and give Hugo a good rub down. Then rub Lyle with the sock. Hopefully, Lyle will begin to smell more familiar to Hugo that way.

Great idea Sienne. All week long I took new beds/towels to Lyle at the vets...this thought never occurred to me. Going to do it this morning. Still have the hisses and growls and only from his blood brother.

THIS by far is the best part of the story.. because orange juice is a (mild) acid I think??.. so I wonder if it would have eaten any of the evidence.. :)

Yep, I didn't think about the acid part, but I did wonder if the fluid loosened any leftover bits from the bowl. I'm still hopeful I took it from a clean pile. But since I have no memory of doing it...we'll just never know. I get hysterical with laughter when I start thinking about it.

Re: 4/18 Six's AMPS 91

Yay for normal days! and a Sunday no less! What brand of cat food are you using? My kitties still love FF and I have a pretty big stock of old label cans (I buy them whenever I see them) It took Sabrina a couple of days to be nice again to Scrabble after his surgery! Have a great Sunday!

Re: 4/18 Six's AMPS 91

Hi Amy,
Ive had my head in a hole for a while here and did not realize what was going on with your cats. Im so sorry. It sounds like you are proactive and on top of things, which will surely help them. I also did not realize you had SEVEN cats! :o Wow! Thats a juggling act, in itself.

Here is to a happy house hold of cats and beans this sunday!

uh... Amy...do you usually drink out of a BOWL? Do you purr loudly too? I think you should leave a video going for yourself just so you know what you do at night when you wake up! You unconsciously grabbed the kitty bowl...that is too funny! Hope you all have a good day!!

Re: 4/18 Six's AMPS 91 +3 79

Maybe Amy's just trying to fit in with all her purry friends!

I hope Lyle is doing OK this evening and great numbers for Six so far!
Let us know if the sock trick works on Hugo!

Amy, MY head has been in a hole too! I didn't realize everything you had going on.

I happen to know that you have super-great karma! o:-) So I know everything will get better.

:YMHUG:

Look at that...a perfect 100!!!! I think I would have rather he earned a 99

So the sock trick...I wish I had known about it earlier. Things are better between Lyle and Hugo. I tried it this morning and things have improved. *** If this happens again I will try it again immediately. I's a great idea.

And for the record...I don't drink from a bowl, hack up hairballs, twitch at birds passing by, etc...just in my dreams!

Hi Amy
Lots of heads in holes today
I don't know where mine is, my whole routine is so way
off.

Glad Lyle is doing well. My kitties always hiss at Max when he comes back
drom the vet, the smell really bugs them.

Look how amazing Six is doing. Great news.
Good luck with the food. I have been so afraid to change but I have heard
a lot about the cowboy cookout.

Great numbers Six!
I'm glad Lyle is feeling better.
I can't believe you drink orange juice from cat bowls, Amy. That's funny
