Thanks Ella...I must be the only person in the US who doesn't have ice in her/his freezer. ohmygod_smile
Alex seems to be doing a little better today (guarded optimism). When we went to bed at 3:30 AM he was panting and I was frightened but I was just hoping that he would follow Jackson's example and stop moving around. He came into the bedroom with me and was on the floor close enough so that at least I could hear him. I didn't get much sleep...needless to say.
I got up to check him at 5:30 and sugar was good, temperature was high normal(I'm getting VERY good at this temperature thing) and he wanted a snack and he was still panting a little and I made a note to get L-Lysine 500 which Carolyn told me to get cause it clears up respiratory problems real fast(just got back from Target). I also decided last night that another dose of Clavaimox would be a good idea and why wait till AM..it had been 12 hours.
At around 6:45M I had a purry face in mine and I was sure it was Jackson but to my surprise it was Alex! He came up on the bed to snuggle for a while. Only 10 minutes and then he left but I guess he wanted to tell me he was feeling better. But my sick mind translated it into something else after the initial joy wore off(OH NO...is this a thank you before he goes off and gets REALLY sick? Like why did Ali McGraw look so beautiful in 'Love Story' right at THE END)? That was the end of any hope of sleep for me.
Alex's temp is 102.5(high normal), He ate a huge breffis. He is at my feet now and hasn't you know what yet today. (It is going to be hot soon and I'm going to try not to freak out or open tuna in front of him) He is due for his Clavamox (a little early ) soon, so he's getting meds. I have fluids if he needs them. I can take his temperature now. I have frozen peas..but no ice. Now he just needs to get better...whatever it is that he has :?
Is there such a thing as anti-hyperventilation vines? if so..please send them to my baby!
He's already got the best brother a guy could want ♥ (Who is lavishing in the small amount of attention he's getting when I care for his cyst bid)
