I woke up to the sound of Gabby hacking up a BIG hairball this morning. She seemed rather put out that I pitched her off the bed rather than allowing her to make the deposit on the linens. She couldn't have been too bothered though -- she climbed back into bed and cuddled up for an hour or so of more BTB. The kitties are loving the weather. We were in the 80s yesterday and will be in the 70s throughout most of the weekend. I hope everyone is getting this kind of taste of spring.

I'm wondering whether I should fatten Gabby's dose. It's been almost a week since she's seen green. On the other hand, I'm due to start a new cartridge tomorrow.

Enjoy the gorgeous weather, it's gonna get cold and rainy next week. Your weather is the same as ours here in southwestern NY.

Not the best sound to wake up to. The kissing kitties are
so much better. I hate having to "pitch" a throwing up kitty but you got to do
what you got to do.
We are having the same wetaher as Chicago but so glad we did not have
yor winter.
I hope Gabby gets back down in her numbers. It has been a while since
she nosedived to those beautiful surfs of green.

Hairballs = a sure sign of spring! Good catch, Sienne.

Im glad you are going to continue getting good whether. Temps have dropped in the last few hrs here and we should have rain and 50's all weekend. Sure was nice when it lasted.

I think you should figure out a way to let Gabby out on your deck....supervised of course! I bet she would really like it. Gizmo, on the other hand...well that one might cause some trouble. :roll:

I've found kitty spit on the floor with toes any number of times. It's especially delightful when it's way too early and I don't have my contacts in and can only guess at what the wet spot is!

Randi - I think we had a warmer winter than you did. Maybe not -- I try to ignore the winter as best as I can. In the area where I live, we didn't get any huge amounts of snow.

And Carolyn, as for the kitties going out on the balcony, it's not gonna happen. I live in the middle of the city. The cats do no go outside. Ever. To be honest, Gabby is terrified of outside and I prefer it that way. I'm terrified of the dangers that being in the city pose for a cat.

Maybe warmer Sienne but you had tons of snow. I saw my bills from the Chicago
plant and they were yikes. We did not have any so I'll take cold over snow.

Balcony downtown Chicago, OMG. It reminds me of many years ago when I lived
in a highrise and thought I left my patio door open and I had my Sasha(GA) then.
I tore out of the office to get back home to make sure she did not fall off
the balcony. Thank Goodness.

Gabby--come on down! You don't want to make your bean fatten up your dose, do you? She wouldn't enjoy that at all.

80s, you say? Wow! And I thought getting near 70 was phenomenal.

Sienne - isn't this weather wonderful? We're supposed to hit near 80 today...that must have been your weather yesterday.

Hi, Sienne & Gabby! I know what you mean about any puke, etc -- if I am lucky enough to hear the sound of it starting, I pick them up & move them to the floor without carpet ;-) easier to clean up! Happy to hear about the gorgeous weather, this time of year is so welcoming after the winter months. Good luck on seeing green soon!! :mrgreen:

Whoohoo.. green!!!! Go Gabby go!!!!

In Gabby's honour, one of my cats barfed all over the couch when I was sleeping.. across the arm and down the cushion.. not sure how a 1 foot long cat makes 2 foot long barf.. but there it is..

A sliver of green so I held the dose.

I was going to reply to Dawn but I figured I did not want this to be the go to condo for all kinds of barf or associated excretion tales.

You are right Sienne. They have it all planned and are way
smarter than house. They have to make sure we are always on our toes
and any thoughts of a normal life, well forget it.

Interesting night Gabby is giving you.
Paws crossed no bounce but I told you she was going to give you
fun this weekend. :lol: :lol:
