Morning ~O) Everybody in LL!! Happy Tuesday, Happy Full Moon day!

Shadow is starting his day with a sunny yellow and loads of purrs. He is just SO sweet as he jumps up on the testing towel in order to sing for his supper. He pays with his blood...ear test and then off to devour some Mixed Grill and sprinkles. He seems happy this morning but then again, he is always in a good mood it seems. When I went back there, he was sitting on his towel waiting for his shot.

I never would have believed that both my kitties would take to the ear pricks and the injections like they did. I was so nervous back in August when I thought of "hurting" them like that. Ha. What did I know? They were totally fine with the whole procedure. They don't even get treats after so that speaks volumes about the kitties and how they adjust to this. Can it be that they feel so much better and realize that it's cause we are doing all this to them? Seems to be that.

Anyway, all systems are "GO" for the big party tonight. They are standing at the door watching for the the first cool cats to arrive. For all the newcomers to Lantusland....don't worry about your kitties. They will be just fine! There is a connection among all the kitties here and certainly they feel right at home from the first moment! Raja smothers them all with kisses and Shadow introduces them to everyone...then, everyone smothers them with kisses too. It's gong to be a great time for each one of them! They love to party and they all love each other! fll_moon

If a dining room table will be a good substitute for a piano, we are all set for Latte to place her throne there. Or, she could sit next to Logan on the dais where she can overlook all the partying kitties ...they are able to see everything but can take it easy away from the crowd. Raja has it all set for you two....hope you feel well enough to come...

A low yellow number for Shadow so I think he will be blue very soon.
Putty is all excited and is relaxing before the big night.

Tess, is looking out the window wondering if she can get the last moonbeam of the AM or if she has to wait ALL DAY for our rather late evening moonbeams. I keep telling her it's very fashionable to be late.

Tugger is well on his way to feeling frisky for the party =) He woke up and was full of purrs and headbutts. Now that he's had his breffis and shot he is ready to head out. Will you let me know when he gets there so I won't worry? nailbite_smile

Max was taking a nap this morning--presumably so he can party it up tonight! He wants to know if he can bring his blankie tho...Mama pulled out one of the fleecies last night and he was having a good time sleeping with it on the couch.

That IS a nice sunny yellow this morning and we really need the sunshine around here.

Basil will be at the party but he has to be home a little early. Tomorrow morning is his dental. :( So please, can you ask Raja to make sure that Basil eats only those magicy kinds of foods that are okay before anesthesia?

Spooky is on his way. He had a nice wander outside today on the leash, ate plenty of grass and brown weeds, he says you won't mind if he tosses his cookies on the carpet, he knows you have the Bissle! Socks is waiting till dinner before he heads out. I'm not sure how much moon we will see this evening it was a nice day but the clouds are comming and it's supposed to get nasty for the next few days :sad: The moon looked pretty nice last night (almost full) and very big and orange colored just over the mountains. Hope everyone gets there on time and has a hootin' time!

Moonie is rested & ready for an exciting night! She is ready to go, and feeling better!!
She is happy to see her friends Raja & Shadow and all fd kitties tonite..Moonie is ready to PAR TAY!! She jumping quite well now, so dancing wont be a problem!!
Let's see some blue Shadow today-OK? Huggies & Moonie will be there soon!

mocha thinks she is ready for the party tonight .. she hasn't ever been to a party before! She is hoping no one makes fun of her, for missing her front teeth .. she is a bit self conscious over that still ... maybe if she could bring her sister twix she would feel better?

Tuscany is ready to go - since Mocha hasn't been to a party before I think they will travel together since we are almost neighbors. The moon was quite full looking last pm and I had a hard time convincing all the cats that the full moon was really today. If they get to much for you to handle just let us know. Rumor does have it that there might be a bunch of civies doing a catnip raid on your place too (Twix and Josie have been in cahoots talking).

Checkers told his little brother Clancy, that even if civvie siblings are allowed, he isn't bringing him, because he eats everything in sight, and he would embarrass him.
Oh gees, Check's is chewing on his hairbrush, that means he wants mama to get him all gussied up and shiny, for the girls. party_cat
Well, after a little nap, to renew his energy, Checkers will be on his way. I see the baggie of catnip, ready to go.

Max is sooooooo excited for the party tonight.
He was very busy this morning workng on his social skills.
I think he is planning on leaving right before dinner tonight
although we won't have too much company.
He is checking on Logan and we are waiting for Kelly to give the thumbs up.
I am worried that Logan might not be able to come but I left it
in Max's hands to get him to eat.
Paws crossed there is some better news from Kelly's DH2B soon.

Shadow brought some of the early birds to the beach. He wanted to get the "sand-which-is" there for the party. :roll: He is SO silly! Tugger & Spooky went with him. Both of them believing what Raja said about the sand...and arguing with Shadow the whole way. Oops...they're back already...12 little sandy paws walking across the kitchen floor. Stu is having a FIT now! He is very fussy about HIS kitchen once he starts cooking! They are all laughing about the "sand which" is on the beach and how Shadow is such a gooney goofey. Sweeping the floor as they all laugh!! Stu is laughing too!

Please tell Mocha that no one will say one word about her teeth (or lack thereof) These kitties are all very polite, taking lots of direction from Putty...and they never EVER make fun of anyone else. They DO laugh when something is funny...but hey....toofus stuff ain't funny to any of them! (I noticed that they are all self-conscious about their teeth and it's a subject they don't talk about at all)

Raja & Shadow have new hair growing in on the spots where they had sores so they are all ready to show Scrabble how it will look when his spot gets better. Again, sore spots are not to be made fun of at all. These kitties are so loving to each other....and they love to have the civvies here too. They all join in the ritual moon dances and are so happy to be among good friends. Makes me want to be a kitty too... :roll:

Hoping that Logan will come tonight. If not, Raja is going over there to bring him some stuff that Stu is preparing. If he comes, Raja said she has a closet that he can rest in whenever he wants....plus his usual Throne seat. We hope he feels well enough to come. And Gracie...it's BYOCN Bring your own cat nip! LOL.
Can't wait to hear what she has to say about it afterward! We love welcoming newbie kitties to the festivities!!! :mrgreen:

Morris is so excited about the party today, that he made sure to have a nice BLUE AMPS today so that I would be sure & allow him to go!

I understand completely Pat! Morris likes to 'play' when it comes to poke time (he twitches his ears around & trys to move his head away), but I think he understands it is an important part of life now. My dh is always amazed at how willing Morris is to come & curl up on my lap, even when he sees me with the test kit! I don't give treats after every poke either (I do on occaision) and of course he does get fed after his AMPS & PMPS.

I just dropped the two boys at the Moonbeam Port, and they are on their way. I said that if the weather was nice they could sun their pancreases outside for a little while before the party. They have both been told to be on their best behavior tonight. I hope everyone has a wonderful time at the party, that Logan is able to make it, and that Latte feels up to a dance with Bear.

Mocha invited Angel to go with her and he's too cool to act excited but I know he is. He even put on BLUE at lunchtime today which makes his mama very happy. At 15 yrs old he's a little too much the grumpy old man to cause much trouble so I'm expected him to behave. He put his paw down that civvie baby brother one-eyed Cashew not be allowed to tag along and I agree that it would spoil his fun. Glad this is happening at your place, not mine!

This will be Blackie's first Full Moon Party, but he's ready to go. He asked if he could sit be Latte, since she's the Queen and has her own throne. Blackie is the King in our house, but he doesn't have his own throne. I'm sure he'll enjoy all of your antics.

More kitties are arriving now....way before dark too. Some are sitting out in the Florida sunshine. It's not too warm out there...a nice breeze...so they are very happy! Blackie....Latte decides who will sit next to her ya know....she is very particular. But you are a handsome fella so I think you will be in luck! I just happen to have another throne chair and I will make sure it's available for you. There's one reserved for Logan. Raja usually sits at his feet so she will be ready to fetch whatever he needs.
Let's see now....the two "Mans" just arrived. That'd be Bear Man and Teddy Man :lol: and everyone is admiring the adorable Disney hat on Bear Man. SO CUTE!!! :lol: Just to let you know they arrived safely, Linda!
Stu has been cooking up a storm and all the kitties have come to help him in the kitchen. Good thing there are so many here since they do have short attention spans when it comes to "work". Stu is focused though and has gotten everyone to help out. Place is all cleaned up already after the cooking. Everything is ready and now Stu can relax a little. This is so much fun! :mrgreen:

Why is it that kids and apparently kitties, will clean up after themselves and be all Perfect Child when they are anywhere but in the presence of their parents? Tugger never cleans up after himself here. I'm glad he has manners, don't get me wrong, but man it sure would be nice if he'd do it here too.

Oh well, he's awesome about the daily tortures, so I guess I can't have everything. *eyes the other kitties who also do not clean up after themselves but do not get tortured*

Buzz is on her way, and she said that if no one makes fun of how she can look mean (she isn't mean at all, and she's a little sensitive about that too) she won't make fun of anyone's teeth (or lack thereof) or sores. I told her she had to be on her best behavior and that even if someone makes fun of her, she's not allowed to do so back. She is a little shy so hopefully someone will take her paw and show her around. I've told her how nice everyone is and how they all understand what it's like to get poked and shot. She is bringing her special batch of niptinis; drinkers beware, she may tend to have a heavy hand. ;)

She will also be staying to clean up afterwards; she knows that's what polite kitties do if they want to be invited back, and she is pretty sure she will want another invitation. Hopefully she gets there in time to enjoy some sun on the beach; she's never been. :)

Sara can't wait to get to the full moon party. She'll be departing soon. This months full moon is the "full worm moon". fll_moon She has doned her spring hat in its honor. Plus she feels pink is one of her best colors. And you know if a lady is going to attract the attention of handsome kitties she must look good.

Basil wanted to get there early. He has on his party pajamas! And he is bringing the green cheese dip, too!

He says he loves pink hats. I hope he doesn't get too much into the catnip and say something rude to Sara.

mocha decided to wear BLUE tonight, to match her eyes! She is accompanied by one handsome johnny angel, he cleaned up reallllllllly good after his trip outside and tuscany looking beautiful as usual! They all plan to have a great time, and to of course, stay and clean up after the chaos has ended!

In case you want to know what has been going on so far....don't forget...MUM's the word...you don't know ANY of this, k? SHHHhhhhhhhh....

Sara in her pretty pink hat and Basil in his pajamas were dancing together for the longest time! Spooky was helping Stu and Raja with the food in the kitchen while Moonie set the buffet table. Scrabble & Shadow are at the door greeting everyone as they arrive and waiting for Putty. Max was napping a bit on his blankie and he was sharing a corner of it with Tess. Those Moonbeam rides are exhausting!
Moses called and said he is on his way. Tuscany & Checkers were having a long conversation on the dock while Morris and Maggie were swinging in the hammock. Blackie was chasing Twix and Josie all around the yard and he seems very at ease at his first Moon Party. It is a first one for lots of kitties!

KB and Gracie arrived at the same time and got all settled in while Bear Man is in his favorite chair at the bar in his Disney ears. :lol: Do Lou has also met all the kitties and seems to feel right at home too....he and Buzz suggested they all go to the beach to watch the sunset. So, they brought some niptinis and off they ran. Following their suggestion, Tugger and Baby ran along too and close behind was Mocha (in blue tonight) and Angel. Teddy Man was convinved by Sadie to join them all so he said good bye to his brother at the bar and ambled along. All of them think the sunset is a great idea so the rest will be meeting them there. Sun setting ~ Moon rising!

They all seem so happy....they all get along so very well. This is great. But I did get the warning from Raja that when they get back, the Moon rituals will be starting. I will have to hide myself somewhere to get a peek. I will take care of them all, don't worry. They all were very polite and kept thanking me for having the party. And, they were all promising to clean up...TUGGER suggested that they talk about it now before the partying really begins. So sweet. This is great fun...thanks for letting them all come!

Hello! Latte is running late because of me of course! I didnt get enough peacock feathers!!!! :o She insisted I run out and get some more. :YMSIGH: Cats!

She insisted on bringing her throne (sorry pat!). She said the FULL moon moon beams are strong enough to carry it. I reminded her that there may not be room at Shadow's house. She told me Shadow was big and strong. He would make room. I hope thats the truth! :? As you can see, there is plenty of space (once shadow is snuggled in) for all her other friends like Max,Blackie, Stu,bear man, and so many others.

She asked me not to give her the medicine that may make her a little...uh...stoned. She didnt want other kitties to get the wrong idea. :lol: So, she ate a little and showed a little spunk (or excitement for the party???). I told her we could hold off, if it was that important.

Btw...she was also hoping someone might have some grass...as momma has not planted it quite yet and she has been getting some cravings today! So much for not wanting to give the wrong impression! :roll:

J.D. and Ginger should be just about there. Ginger was so excited to be going (this is her first party), she was racing around the house and making cat-in-heat kind of noises. OMG! J.D. has been instructed to watch out for his little sister and not let her out of his sight. I told Ginger, if she stays away from the catnip tonight, she can have all she wants when she gets home. I know, I'm such a cautious mother :roll:

Well my crew already took off a while ago.. but took me a while to catch up on the goings on at the party before this post.. sorry for the lack of warning!.. so I hope they are there somewhere in that craziness!

Before they left.. Hitch and Jerry gave each other a full 3 minute bath (before it broke out into wrestling.. this is about 2 minutes and 55 seconds longer then they usually make it).. so I think they're pretty serious about it.. Not sure if they were invited, but they were so set on going I didn't have the heart to stop them..

Nova had her howling already started before she left.. she caught a "bird" (honeysuckle pillow).. guess she's bringing it along to share..

Hope everyone's having a good time..and hope my cats come home exhausted.. so I can get some rest :)

Hi Guys! Spot should be there shortly. I hope you don't mind if Ralph and Ali come with him...They have been good buddies lately, well, all except for Ali, so hopefully she will learn some socialization skills tonight. I had a talk with her and told her she had to behave or she wouldn't be able to go to anymore parties. Spot didn't really want her to come along since she always beats up on him, but I told him that's what sister's do! Thanks for inviting the kids, Pat! You are such a good hostess!!

I'm glad Shadow came down to the blues for the party!

Oh, Pat, you're such a good hostess! I know Buzz must have had a good time at the beach with her new friends, and I can't wait to hear all about it when she returns home (if I'm still awake then, of course). I hope her niptinis were a hit but not TOO much of a hit. I would love to try to get a peek at what's happening, but I will trust you to give us what info you can. It sounds like Latte is all set up in a place of honor, as is fitting, and that everyone else is having a good time. Lots of party novices, but that just means there will be even more kitties at the next one, as I'm sure they will all want to return.

i hope Mannie made it ok - it's his first party, and he was so excited! I had to remind him this morning that he had a very important social engagement, and to get out of his slump, cuz nobody likes grumpy kitties. He is so looking forward to making new kitty friends! I hope he is being a good boy!

Just checking in to see if Putty is behaving himself. He was told if he gave me a hard time with his shot tonight he would not be able to go to the party. He was so well behaved he did not even move. He was so excited to see all of his friends although he was sad that Alex was not going to be there because last time she gave him a ride and they became good friends.

Oh, gosh, Kitty fell asleep waiting for his moonbeam! Imagine that -- a CAT falling asleep! :lol: I have to wake him for his PM test, so I'll send him over on the very next moonbeam after that... being a full moon party, it will surely continue for several hours, right?
