Yeah, loving these yellows! I guess my vet was right with the whole going to 2 units thing, although I'm still a few drops short of it. Will probably increase tonight as I'll be able to get a +6 or +7.

Exciting day, I finally felt good enough to leave the girls together all day while I'm at work. After a semi-disastrous intro 3 months ago, we started with intros all over again and things are much better. :-D Nikki seems relatively happy with Dee's understanding that she is the head of the house and they'll actually sleep on opposite corners of the bed. :-D

Hope everyone has a good day!

Nice AMPS.

Good job on the reintroductions! I know it can be a pain, but so worth it.

Thanks! This was my first time through it. Nikki has been a singleton for almost 9 years and Dee turned out to be extremely shy, so we had to go back to the drawing board. After lots of feeding on either side of a baby gate and then holding Dee up to the baby gate so Nikki could smell her but not hurt her, we started making progress much more quickly. There is still some hissing and growling on Dee's part, but I think she secretly likes having Nikki chase her around a bit. Plus it's good for Nikki to get some exercise! The first time I caught them sleeping in one room was a very happy day. :-D

That is great! So hopeful that they will come tolerable to each other. Just think- cold nights make for strange bedfellows, so this is the time for them to get used to each other before those cold nights arrive

It certainly does make it easier in your home when all the furries can get along together. That big unknown of introducing another cat is why I haven't brought in a new kitty since Wink joined us in January. I keep looking at all those kitties in the "Kitties With Diabetes Store". Big sigh. :YMSIGH:

Dee was an unexpected addition. Found her on the street. Some people in my building had been feeding her and we were about to have a blizzard. I couldn't leave her out! :-D

All was well when I got home so I think we're mostly settled!
