Yes! and sometimes the background songs were playing "backwards". There was a fix for that... you took a matchbook (omg, do they still even sell those?) and folded in in half or twice in half, and jammed it either under or over the tape, so that the "right" part of the tape lined up with the tape heads...... lol, I remember hearing "hey, who's got an empty book of matches on them?"And remember how when you played one so much, you could hear the other tracks playing in the background of the track you were listening to?
