SHIPPING

Method

UPS is our method of shipping as it provides tracking capabilities and includes insurance at no extra cost. Requests to deliver by US Mail will incur additional handling and insurance charges. If you wish to have USPS delivery, you cannot order directly from the site. You must contact Rebecca by email for a custom invoice. The invoice will be sent via PayPal and payment must be processed through PayPal. As of March 1, 2012, USPS rates are higher than UPS rates. We can ship to either business or residential addresses.

Please include a street address with all orders as UPS cannot deliver to P.O. boxes. Order processing will be delayed if you put a P.O. Box in your shipping address.

Cost

We strive to keep our shipping costs low. We cannot, however, compete with Big Box stores who receive volume discounts. Our products are quite heavy and large and therefore relatively expensive to ship. A small handling charge is also added for packing materials and t cover the cost of shipping personnel. Shipping & handling charges, based on current UPS rates, can be estimated prior to checkout by entering your zip code in the shopping cart. Due mainly to increasing fuel prices, shipping rates may change frequently.

Shipping outside the continental U.S.

If you are located outside the continental USA and wish to order, please email and I may be able to arrange shipment. Please note that our litter is a biologic product and cannot be shipped to Australia or New Zealand.

Non-USA orders may incur import duty fees or extra delivery fees within your country. Unfortunately, we cannot determine the costs of these fees for you and they are not covered in regular shipping charges. You will need to contact your local delivery services.

 
RETURN POLICY

As the Smart Cat Box is a pet health product, once used it cannot be returned for resale. Use of box occurs if you set up your box, put litter in it and allow your cat access to it. Even if your cat does not urinate in the box, this constitutes use of the Smart Cat Box.

    RETURN POLICY for the SMART CAT BOX
  1. We DO NOT accept returns if the Smart Cat Box has been used. (see comments on use in above paragraph.
  2. We can not accept returns if you have had the Smart Cat Box for over 1 month.
  3. We DO NOT accept returns of used or open bags of litter.
  4. We accept returns if the delivery carton has not been opened and is returned within one month.
  5. We accept returns if the carton has been opened and the Smart Cat Box has NOT been used and is returned within one month.
  6. We accept returns of unopened bags of litter within one month.
    RESTOCKING FEES:
  1. There is a $5.00 restocking fee for unopened cartons.
  2. There is a $12.00 restocking fee for Smart Cat Box Starter Kits
  3. There is a $15.00 restocking fee for Smart Cat Box Value Paks

Shipping charges are not refundable under any circumstances.
